I have used my fan on my deck under the gazebo to cool off. It also keeps the bugs away. I haven't hook up the mister yet but will soon.
It also works as a regular fan I love it
I received my Holmes outdoor fan with misting kit about three week ago. Overall it's an OK fan, but I would not recommend it to others. The fan was hard to adjust. It came in two sections and the screws that hold the fan part did not do a good job keeping the head upright. It kept coming loose and did not hold the position that was set. Also the base section had the same problem. I come to discover that the screws provided was not long engough to keep the unit together or to hold the fan head tight. I am thinking about retuning it to Walmart for a refund or replacement.
