This is the best TV we have ever had. It was pricey but well worth it for what it delivers. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants the best money can buy.... (without breaking the bank!) [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
LG absolutely MUST MAKE 3D feature again in their TVs! That will keep LG to stand out on the market forever! LG PLEASE LISTEN TO CONSUMERS REQUESTING 3D BACK. Just amazing. I recommend to all friends and they all want to buy LG oled 3D, but they r not available anymore. Come on. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I bought this TV a month ago and I am enjoying it to the fullest. The picture is fantastic as well as the sound. It is very easy to operate. I still have a few things to master but, I just have to touch bases with the Concierge service to make it happen. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Have had my OLED65G6P for about one month after having a major Japanese brand series of CRT and LED TVs for over 30 years. I have to say I am impressed with this OLED's performance. Picture quality is outstanding. The quality of the sound is also very good and far better than most other TVs. To add frosting to the cake, wife is also quite pleased with this OLED TV. I am also quite pleased with the range of adjustments this TV is capable of. They may be a little intimidating initially, but after playing with them one can achieve amazing results. You will not find a better picture anywhere else at this time! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I bought this to replace my older 60" LG Plasma. Wow! I cannot believe the contrast and the detail! It truly changes the viewing experience. I enjoy detail and precision and I love how this machine makes my Blu-Ray discs look so much better than before. The interface is good and internet access is far superior to my older TV. Beautiful design and performance! My only complaints are the exceptionally poor user manual and the annoying little bouncing icon used to warn you that you have the sound muted. I bought this TV one year ago during Black Friday. I am so happy with it. There are three things that I love. First, is the picture quality. The blacks are truly black. I see details that I don't see on other TVs. And 4K movies are breathtaking. I also like the 3-D. The 3-D effect is so immersive. And I like that the glasses are light weight and low cost so that I can afford to provide glasses for all my guests. Second, the viewing angle. I have a long sofa facing the TV and I can view the picture from any angle. Third, the sound. When I first considered buying this TV I was thinking of buying two standing speakers and a receiver. But the sound is so good that you don't need extra speakers. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I love this tv, The color and detail is without equal. Oly issue I have had is with a small crack in the glass to which the display is attached. It's only about 3/8 of an inch but I worry about it spreading. I am not aware when or how it happened. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I didn't think I had to meet a character count but anyways, I love my tv. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
This is an amazing TV. The 4k, Dolby Vision and HDR are nice features but 3D is where this TV really shines. I used to hate 3D with its murky, dark images but this TV is a revelation of clarity and immersion in 3D. When I own a movie in both 3D and 4K, the 4K never gets watched. There is simply no comparison. 3D was more than a key factor in selecting my new TV, it was THE factor. If I hadn't seen a 3D demo in the store, I wouldn't have known what I was missing. So why drop 3D from 2017 models? It seems like a decision that was somehow made in The Twilight Zone. When I show movies in 3D to my guests there is a sense of awe and spontaneous applause. 4K and HDR elicits nothing of the kind. I somehow imagine LG executives hanging on to 2016 models themselves to show their children/grandchildren 3D movies like Doctor Strange, Ghost in the Shell and Beauty and the Beast (live action). These movies are amazing on LG's 3D OLED TVs. I am tempted to purchase a second 2016 3D model in case they are never available again. Not too many companies pursue technological perfection and achieve it. Even fewer achieve that perfection and subsequently throw it out the window. Come on LG, take us out of this 2 dimensional Twilight Zone and bring back the 3 dimensional reality of your unimaginable technological achievement. We bought this just prior to the Christmas Holiday. It boost an incredible picture and is a fun interactive TV. I think that the sounder, that is included is a great addition. The remote is traditional but can also be used as a pointer, a huge plus! The only negative is if the remote that came with the TV is damaged, in our case, puppies, it can only be replaced with an older model remote that does not work as well.
