I bought this for my mom but it is very much a couple's book and she is single and has 4 kids so I had to shuffle the gift list. It is a cute and scrapbook-y type kit that any married person with 3 or less children would love. The spouse sections comprise half of the book so it would just look kind of sad for a single person and the children section does not have any room to accommodate more than 3 kids. No customization room at all to tack on an extra. I like the book, it is cute and classy. It is well made and not cheap looking at all, made a great gift for my sister even if it didn't work out for mom.
