Well, although the movie is old my son still enjoys the CARS movie. He saw this set and asked if I would buy it for him. He is five and wants to learn how to ride his CARS bicycle without the training wheels. The set is easy to put on and its doing its job. I would recommend it to anyone and the price is great.
This was a great price for this set. Super cute and matches the bicycle we got our 3 year old son!
My son just turn 4 in November. I order this product for my son for Christmas to go with his' car bike and scooter. He enjoy and love it very much. When he go out to ride his bike or scooter he put on his helmet and knee pads to keep from scratching hisself up. I will recommend this product to anybody who has small children. It is worth it.
My son was heartbroken when he outgrew his toddler size Matchbox helmet, so we went looking for something in a "big kid" size and found this set. He LOVES it! The only thing negative I could say about it is that the knee pads are a bit tight on his chubby little legs.
My son loves his new Cars helmet. He wants to put it on EVERY time we go outside. I'm happy that he's happy to wear a helmet when we go for rides, or when he 'borrows' his sisters scooter, or just because : ) No big falls yet(knock on wood), but if he does at least his little noggin will be protected. *I did purchase this same helmet in the store in a toddler size for my 3-year-old, and it came with only one set of pads. It was a little confusing because packaging stated included were helmet and pads for knees OR(which I didn't notice) elbows. Not a problem, just a note.
With the exception that I had to order this SITE TO STORE because not one Local Walmart carried a CHILD size in this design. (all were toddlers-3+) I am very happy with it- and so is my son!!! Its easy for him to put on, and he rides his bike with it and the knee pads everyday!!! He loves Lightening McQueen, so there were no other options as far as hemets for us!!! It is an excellant product and I would buy it again I needed to!!!
The Cars Lightning McQueen boys' helmet is cool (literally, too, what with all those ventilation holes), and it serves a purpose. I love the hard shell exterior. The knee and elbow pads are not very flexible, and therefore tend to irritate my son, but they serve a purpose. We had to buy this helmet rather than the toddler size, as I guess my son has a larger-than-average size head. The toddler size is identical, however. Would recommend to everyone.
The Helmet is great, if a little big for my 4 year old. The knee/elbow pads are nothing to rave about. You get what you pay for. But the kid went crazy seeing that they are cars! He uses them so it worked!
This is a cute set. I did have to reorder as the first set they send me was for a 5 years old and I ordered the 3 year old set but all ended well. I liked the fact that the pads states which is for knees and elbows so I dont have to guess every time. This is a good starter set and our grandson wears them with no problem.
Again, a gift to my son. He's 4 and has out grown his current helmet. This was a gift. And again he's in love with it. However, unlike most helmets it did not come with etra pads to adjust the size of the helmet for your child. It also didn't give an option for size of helmet. He now has to wear his hat under the helmet and have the straps tight to have a good fit. It would probably be great for an older child...........................I guess.
