I was expecting to see a regular size little tent. This tent is an amazing size. Fits at least 4-5 kids in it up to I would say 6 or 7. It is adorable, light and easy to assemble. Also has a carrying case if you want to take it along. My daughter loves it!!!
This tent is very large big enough for us to play with our son in it. He loves it. I would go with this one over a lot of the other tents.
The clubhouse sets itself up right out of the box. I had read several reviews stating that the ears were not round; to my delight, the ears were round and the lights on the mouse logo gave the club house a "hollywood" effect. The house is big enough for kids, parents, or grandparents to sit inside. Best of all, the kids love it!
Even though I thought this was a bit overpriced, you have to realize that Disney products are never cheap. (Paying for that Logo, you know!) When it arrived, I opened it right away, as my Granddaughter was staying with me, and it was a present for her. Set up was easy, I was impressed, poof...and it was up and ready for play. The only downside, was when we were attempting to pack it up-it was difficult to collapse, and twice as difficult to roll up. It took alot of effort by two adults to even get it back into the "convenient carry case", and it still didn't all fit in! I ended up pushing it into an oversized pillow case in order to take it to her mother's house. I will also say, that it is much bigger than I had expected, so I'm sure there will be many years of use for it. I just wish it would be easier to fold up! Disney should have designed it a bit smaller, it is for young children after all, and they surely could have made it easier to fold up. Overall, I would recommend this playhouse, my granddaughter really enjoyed the designs, lights, and having her own private space. Playing peekaboo was a delight, and it was funny, too, that our dog had such a good time going inside to surprise her over and over again!
Item is an awesome buy. My son loves this thing, it is literally the size of a 3-4man tent. Very easy to fold & put away as well as pop open. Ears are not round as they look in the picture and I noted that in several of the reviews when I bought it. However what KID cares if the ears are perfectly round! Reasonably priced for this huge monster! You will need significant room to pop open as it is big as it is tall!
Was very disappointed in the quality , the battery compartment has nothing to hold the batteries in,no connectors. the house is very cheaply made, I just kind of expected more from disney products.
But I was a little meh on it. Assembly went well, it was a lot larger than I expected and we will relocate it to the basement. I haven't attempted to fold it back up and put it in the storage bag that came with it. It seems well assembled although it sort of collapses in. It isn't staying fully erect on the front panel, I have to keep readjusting it. Upon removing it from the package, I noticed there were poles included but didn't know where they went as the instructions that accompanied the package were not the instructions for this exact playhut but rather that style. I then noticed that the ears weren't erect as they are in pictures so I though maybe the poles had something to do with that. Upon inspection of the right ear, I just couldn't figure it out. But when I looked at the other ear I noticed that there was a place for a pole under a velcro closure. The reason I couldn't figure it out on the other side was because it was completely sewn shut. I had to cut it with scissors. Because of the poor construction, the pole doesn't it properly. Also upon further inspection, the ears are in no way shaped like Mickey Mouse ears, well one is but the other is an odd teardrop shape. But my son didn't notice that. Nor did he notice that some of the lights were burned out. When my son saw it he was very excited and he played in it quite a bit. I still say we got a deal on it as if there were something like this available here in Canada, it would cost closer to or over $100. But I haven't been able to find anything like this here anyway. I would say most of the disappointments with this were parent related, the kids don't even notice! Also, the instructions state that you need a Phillips screwdriver to open the battery pack and that you need to insert three batteries. But the battery pack back just slides open and, as it says on the box, it only requires two batteries.
When I opened the box and first set up the tent I was very impressed. It popped right open and was HUGE. It's nice that it is so roomy but it does take up almost all my living room. It is very study and made with quality materials. The problem occurs when you try to put it away. I've had it for 2 days now and have spent 2 hours trying to get it to fold up again, and after I did finally manage to get it folded it would not unfold properly again. Very frustrating. The tent is great and if you have room to store it great, but don't plan on folding it up.
i brought this tent for my 2 year old this pass christmas & today I have to throw it away it only lasted 2 MONTHS!!!! it was poorly put together , & WAY over priced.. & I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.. the stitching was poorly done when i took it out of the box strings were EVERYWHERE.. & the mickey ears were lopsided & oval shape.. so I should have know that it would come apart.. I am very disappointed & would never pay that much for a child's tent again don't let the cool lights fool U this product is not worth the money they want for it!!!!
This is the third Playhut tent that I had bought within the last 2 months. When I put this tent up to surprise my 3 yr. old daughter, it kept falling down in the middle. I had to hurry and take it down before she came home, so she would not be disappointed.
