Love this toy. My kids love the detail and the different patterns it came with. It uses their imagination, artistic side , finger work etc.
Purchased this (along with some extra beads) for my niece's 8th Birthday and she loves it. I wanted to get her something that would keep her occupied during the 2020 pandemic and her mom helped me pick this out. Apparently she's made everything from Rainbows and Unicorns to Batman for her lucky Uncle who's a die hard Batman fanatic with some of these designs taking well over an hour to complete so Mom, Dad and big brother are happy that she's occupied. It was sent directly to her from Walmart and I'm kinda looking forward to going over and seeing if I can make anything cool.
Good value for the amount that comes in the bucket. My kid and I have had lots of fun playing with these. A really fun variety of colors, and plenty of shape plates to make lots of great designs.
I like how creative my daughter is with this. It makes her think of different ways to come up with ideas.
I had to give a "good" to "Meets Expectations" because I haven't used the beads yet. This may sound a little off-the-wall but I am going to melt these beads, according to directions I found on YouTube! They will turn out looking like little candies with a flat bottom so I can glue them onto greeting cards that I make. Consequently, I bought these beads totally for greeting card purposes and not for what they are usually used for. The beads look exactly what I was looking for and that's about all I can say.
It was a great purchase. It came with all that it was expected and written to have at a decent price. It came in the mail fast and was quite useful for my projects.
I absolutely love this simple little bucket. It brings half of the bucket with melty beads and other half with 4 different shapes to play with. My kids loved it, had to order more beads to keep making more.
I was interested in expanding our Perler collection after my 5-year old daughter received a box as a gift. While I am disappointed the beads no longer seem to be made in the USA, they are very fun and inspire creativity in both boys and girls. The colors and shapes in this cupcake set are softer and more girly, but other sets are more gender-neutral. Overall, a great value considering the hours of entertainment the Perler beads have provided!
