[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product from #Butterly for #free for my honest opinion. This bracelet maker is super cool! I gave it to my 9 year old daughter to try and she absolutely loves it! I had to help her at first with the process, but after that she was a pro in no time. It's very easy to use and comes with many spools of thread to make bracelets or necklaces. It also came with some charms that could be added as well. So you just basically pop the spools onto their holders, thread the string through and crank a handle to braid. Very easy! When finished you just trim to size (it comes with a sizer), add stoppers and charms and .....you have a super cool fashion accessory! I think this would be great for kids around 8 and above, or even a bit younger with parental help. Would make a great gift too! #FamilyRatedClub

She is 10 years old and movies and art/colouring projects just dont cut it sometimes. When I received the Cool Maker Kumi Kreator Activity Kit from Family Rated, my sister was excited to put it to the test immediately. We were able to put the main component together without instructions, but the box also came with a QR code that led to a YouTube video explaining the steps, which is helpful. The kit came with beautiful thread colours and clasps that matched. The bracelets are easy to make and the kit comes with enough pieces inside to make ten bracelets. They take a fraction of the time to create in comparison to the traditional method. My sister had a full lineup to give to her friends in no time! We loved this toy and it would be the perfect birthday gift for those who like to craft.
I like the fact that it gives my daughter something similar but uniquely different to do than the regular bracelets she's been making recently. I cannot wait to give it to her for Christmas.

It's a Christmas gift for my 8 year old niece. So, I can't speak on the ease of use or anything yet, But, it does look super fun and I think she is going to have a blast making her own bracelets!
My almost 10 year old loves this kit! Bracelets are all the rage now and this actually makes some pretty cool designed ones that she loves and easy to use!
I do not have any idea how well this works. It is a gift for Christmas for my great niece. It looks very interesting and like something she might like creating.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got the KumiKreator bracelet maker and it was definitely fun to watch how quickly it would whip together a bracelet, definitely faster than when I was a kid and we would spend hours tying knots. These come together faster than preteen kids change bffs. The unfortunate part is the clasps and charms are cheap plastic and easily break apart. So while this is fun and definitely entertaining to watch, its a one and done toy, never mind all the plastic waste from all the used bobbins. I would recommend it, but as a short time filler and not something that will last.
worked great for one bracelet. then jammed. it was supposed to make 8 bracelets and 2 necklaces. my daughter, and I was watching her. apparently not made well.
The mechanics of this system were extremely different to manipulate. The instructions were equally as hard to work the mechanical bracelet making… seemed easy enough. But, when following the instructions thoroughly, (over and over) it just would jam.., and jam.., and jam again.
