My kiddo loved the mini Ms. Slimmer action figure and Slime. Especially the slime! It came in a cute little package of the figure on top and the slime contained well on the bottom for easy storage. The slime was just the right amount of messy to keep my child entertained and engaged but not so much that it caused a big clean-up after playtime. It was a cute action figure and styled right from the movie character. I think it was a really fun toy and my child does also. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I gave this toy to my niece as a gift and she loved it. She had just gone to see the reboot of Ghostbusters and was struck by the female cast as I imagine a lot of young girls have been. Since she has asked for and expressed delight in any and all things Ghostbusters. This toy was great for her. The smile on her face was more than enough to rate this at 5 stars. She played with this for the rest of the day, and told me "Shlimer is goopy and scary but so funny." Kids are honest, so I take that review at face value. This was a pretty neat toy, I broke it out while trying to get dinner prepared one evening and let my daughter play at the kitchen table with it as I cooked. Perfect for the little goober in your life! The slime is slimy and gross. Not for very little ones, obviously. The pieces snap together soundly, but you MUST make sure they are completely together to avoid leakage. If your kid likes slime, this is great. My 5 year old had a blast playing with the Ghostbuster mini Ms Slimer. I had to be careful where she played with it though because the slime is thinner then I expected and it made a mess quite quickly. She loved that it was a girl version! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
My 4 year old was really excited to get Ms Slime, and declared it super cool. Easy to put together and get apart, which is one of the big downfalls. My son dropped the assembled canister and it opened up all over the chair he was sitting on. However, he loved sliming Ms. Slimer over and over again, and pulling the figure out from the slime. This toy attracts kids, especially the slime. Kids see it and instantly wants to play with the slime. My kids liked watching the figurine get slimed but then started trying to open it up and play with the slime. The slime is much more fluid than other similar slimes and does not stay together. It is also very sticky. Right away my daughter had slime from her elbows to her wrists. It was a nightmare trying to get the slime back into the container and get her cleaned up. At first, it seems like a cool little toy, but it doesn't hold interest very long. Flip it over, and watch Slimer get slimed, then flip it the other way and all of the goo runs out. When playing, everything holds together nicely as one piece. When storing, it is two delegate pieces. And before storing, everything cleans up easily with just rinsing under warm water.
