Got this for my 4 yr old as he is an avid CARS fan! He loves to play with toys in the bath and this is a great addition! It is well made and has held up well, it dries fast so he can continue playing with it out of the bath. The bigger CARS vehicles fit easily on the deck. Good toy for the value!
My great grandson loves his first boat the small lightening McQeen is an extra treat and easy to handle.
my 5 year old kindergarten LOVED THIS BOAT....he started jumping up and down when he opened it and begged his parents to open it ASAP........PERFECT GIFT....NANA SCORED AGAIN
If your boy likes cars and the pool then you found a fun toy. Also good for the bath tub. The boat seems pretty solid.
It seems very lightweight and possibly flimsy but it is actually sturdy and can take the rough play of the pre-school age group.

My nephew's son loved this bath toy as a BD present! Overlooked that a Lightning McQueen car was included in the item and bought another plus a different car, so now he has 3 to race. FOrtunately, his little brother will have a Lightning McQueen too. So nice that the boys can play on water OR on land.
Well made. Boat and car both float. Now we only need one toy in the bathtub. Yeah!!!! Water drains from toy quickly when finished so my son can continue to play with it even after bathtime
This toy fits the need for keeping a child (briefly) entertained in the tub/pool. Once the car is wound up, it doesn't tread very far in the water. My son has more fun playing with it as a standalone toy on a dry surface because it goes much faster and further. The boat does nothing, you're really just paying for the car.
Our experience with the Hydro Wheels cars is horrible. Within 15 mins. of my son playing with this car in the bathtub (and not rough play, either), the stickers started peeling off and one came off completely! Not only that, but the car is supposed to race in the water? Wind it up and it doesn't even MOVE in the water! The wheels spin and that's about it. EXTREMELY poor quality; don't waste your money!
