I agree this toy is a little on the pricey side but when I saw that excited face on my 19 month old son it was a keeper! Great quality! We took him to the store and luckly they had a display and he rode around the toy area at walmart in it and the rest is history!!
Our 1 year old son loves this toy. He plays with it everyday. It is very durable. It works well on all types of flooring and turns on a dime. We really enjoy this product and highly recommend it.
Santa brought this turtle for my 1 year old son. I was very impressed with the wheels that allow him to make 360 degree turns. My older son had several riding toys that didn't have this feature, and it ended up being a nuisance for us, because we were constantly having to turn him around every time he bumped a wall. My son can operate this toy all by himself. He is now 2, and is still loving it!! Even my 5 year old tries to ride it. Best riding toy around...worth every penny!!!
The Turbo Turtle is a little more expensive than the average toddler riding toy of more popular brands, but it is of a much better quality and well worth the price. I always shop for quality over quantity when it comes to most items, especially toys to last through all my kids, and this toy did not disappoint. My daughter loves the buttons with sound effects and the storage compartment in the 'shell.' I really like that its wheels spin all ways and is easy to turn.
First with the good: We really like the rolling caster wheels on the bottom. It really saves your hardwood floors and makes it much easier than picking up the entire toy when near the wall, etc like I have to do with his regular plastic non-turning ride on. The not so good: The sound effects are kind of lacking. Sounds like old comic/cartoon noises. No music or anything that really interests my 1 year old. He is really into toys with a little more going on. Hopefully when he is a few more months older he will like to just ride on it without being as concerned with the buttons.
I bought this for my son, he is 1 1/2 years old and he loves this product. He uses it all over the house, he can move in any direction with this product. Great toy from Radio Flyer.
This was a lot of fun. It really does spin around and is easy for our 2 year old to use, only issue was the handle bar, it broke off after only a couple of weeks. Our son still uses it and just holds the turtle's head, but for $40 you would think the handle bar would have lasted longer
