It was great to see our sons expresson when he saw his new John-Deere Tractor! I would recommend this tractor for two year olds that have older brothers & sisters so they can push the tractor around for him & then by the time he is three he will be riding it for several months.
It's kinda a pain to put the wheels on but other then that very pleased! My son absolutely loves It. It's cool that you can adjust the seat further back the older they get as well!
I bought this for my son for his birthday, he absolutely LOVES it and plays with it every day. The price is great,I had shopped around for this product specifically and it was more expensive everywhere else. I did replace the wheels with rubber wheels from the tool shop because we are in a rural area and the plastic wheels did not do that well on rugged ground.
Grandchildren love this tractor!
Bought for our grandsons (3 & 4) and they do love it!! We followed each step carefully, but some of the holes were not quite big enough to run parts through (ie steering column), so we had to drill just a tad for it to fit. The caps on the wheels came off of each wheel, so we had to leave them off. Yes, we do like it, but the assembling is not easy; once together it is so cute and the kids love it!
The kid on the add was not in my box. A little harder to assemble than anticipated. My great grandson will love it!
After about an hour of assembly time, we got this tractor up and running but it is mostly plastic these days and the lights or any other details are all stickers. I suppose we'll have to keep it inside so it doesn't get faded. So far my son is still pretty thrilled with it... he just turned 3.
Our grandson loved the tractor which was for his third birthday. However, when he pedaled his heel would often hit the rear tires of the tractor, even after adjusting the seat position several times.
If I had been able to see this tractor in the store and have my gr. granddaughter try it out, I probably wouldn't have bought it. It's very hard to steer and the front wheels are "too fat" to easily maneuver. Rubber tired tractors would be better and I would have bought one if I could have just gotten the tractor. Don't need a front end loader. She's getting used to it, but it is not what I expected for $l00!! It comes disassembled and took papaw 45 minutes and he's pretty good at this stuff. Also the steering wheel doesn't seem to be very stable and with it all being plastic, wonder how it will hold up.
I paid expedited shipping of $19.99 to be sure I recd this for my grandson's birthday. Expected date promised was March 6 & I never recd. until 4 pm on March 7. This was too late so I paid $19.99 for nothing.
