My son is 3...Loves Cars! This remote mcqueen car is right up his alley. he sleeps with it and plays with it all day. It is very user friendly - sometimes doesnt go exactly where it is steered, but He LOVES it! Great price for the toy also!

My husband brought this for my two year old son since he just loves cars. the prob was that my son was more interested in turning the car upside dowmn listening to the wheels turn and bending the antenna. Needless to say, it doesnt work as a remote controlled car anymore! It's probably good for older kids but make sure your child is out of the habit of putting things in their mouth and understand the concept of a remote controlled car!

My son is a bit picky with toys and he went nuts over this. I have to say it was not entirely what I expected. THe way the controller works is odd but once you get the hang of it the thing rocks. For example, there is no left, right, up and down controls. Just a circle in the middle that you hold down. When you let the circle go the car goes in reverse, hold the circle down and it goes forward, and everytime you switch directions the wheels turn to make it go left or right at an angle. If you are looking for something to have complete control of movement with then this isn't for you. Also, be forwarned, the car NEVER stops moving if the car is switched to on, there is no stop. To make the wheels stop you have to pick the thing up and switch the actual car to off on the undercarriage. This could scare a young toddler. I know this all seems complicated but in all honesty...Even I had a blast with this thing, running over toes truely was fun, then reverse and it turns automatically for a fast gettway. Hahaha. OHHH and my kids are very rough on toys,( 3 boys) this thing STILL hasnt been broken after a month, thats a record in my house, this car has flown down stairs, across the wood floor, off the bed, and even off the bathtub sides. Very well made! Its worth the money

Very small and cheaply made. The remote is just a piece of round plastic you are suppose to hit up down or to either side, but whever my son hit it it would only go backwards. This gift was a total bust.
