My son loves having all of his Thomas trains together, and this carrying case has helped him learn to organize his toys. A++
This carry-case makes cleaning up fun ! It comes with lables for each train . The only problem is sometimes it is hard to put some of the trains in because the compartments are slightly different sizes. Other then that it is a great buy !
" when my 2 year old saw this, he went crazy for it. but not as much as i did. this Thomas collection is adorable and actully under priced. i have never found a Thomas the train product this aforable. If your child love Thomas the train, this is the best starter collection. i absoulutly love it! hands down the best!
My son loves Thomas the Tank Engine. He likes to watch the movies while he plays with his trains. I bought this case so he could beging a collection of trains and have a cool place to store them. He went NUTS when he opened it for his birthday (he just turned 5)! The only problem is that like some of the others said, he has some difficulty putting the trains in the compartments so I suggested that he put the wheels in first. It's also hard for him to close it with the latch that comes on it. So I end up helping him clean up and store the trains and close the box. So it may really be a struggle for smaller kids. But my son loves his carrying case!
My son LOVES Thomas the tank engine, and has had his tote for almost a year now. He uses it a lot! The only thing that we wish was eaiser to use is the latch to open and close the tote. HE will be 4 soon, and still has to come ask for help with it.
It's a good case. It can be hard to put the trains in but once I taught him how to put the wheels in and then flip on it's side, he did fine. The main problem is that he can't figure out the latch on it so I always have to open it for him. He can usually close it though. It's still worth having as it is a neat novelty and does it's job.
My Son collects Thomas Trains and when we went to put the trains in the case they didn't fit. My Son was very disappointed and it also seemed bigger when ordering. I would definitely find out what type of Thomas Trains you have before making this purchase.
The train tote is very cute, although it does not fit my sons trains properly. you have to shove the train into each container, you have to push it so hard it definitley seems as though they did not measure correctly when designing this. the outside is very cute though.
We bought this case for my 2 year old to put his Take Along trains in. I think our latch is broken on ours, unless it's meant to be loose and open too easily. We also bought ours with missing labels which was kind of annoying but not a big deal. The trains are very hard to get in and out of the little compartments, and my son can't really do on it his own. It's a really cute idea, but in need of some improvements. I would not recommend buying this.
when I saw this in a catalog; I thought it would be wonderful to hold all of my 2 years old's trains but this carrier turns out to be so heavy for him to even lift, nevertheless carry it anywhere. Also, taking the trains out of each slot is more of a chore than anything. I wouldn't recommend this if you don't have the patience to help your young ones stuff each train in each and every time they are done playing.
