My 2yo loves this tractor! Most of it is plastic (I was throw off when it said die-cast in the description), only the hood of the tractor is metal. Overall, it was a great purchase!
I would definitely reccomend this tractor. It is well built, especially compared to others. The kids love it! Pretty realistic looking and seems long lasting. My grandson absolutely loved this toy! He is obsessed with ANYTHING John Deere! This Tractor and Wagon is the perfect size for his 3 yr old hands! Easy to hook the wagon to the tractor. My 3 year old loves this and the wagon can hook into other tractors as well. Big enough wagon to hold plenty of smaller cars or toys.
I have three sons, ages 7, 6, and 3. Their dad is a farmer, so our sons love tractors. This tractor and wagon are well made. My boys love playing with it. He wanted shovels and trucks for the mud. This will be great. Wish it was a wee big larger. But love the color and seems very sturdy.
Right out of the box, the steering wheel is bent and has scratches in the paint like it got mangled at the factory. I tried bending it straight, but it doesn't budge. They need to work on their quality control, I guess. I'll be exchanging for a new one, hopefully with better luck...
My grandson has went through two of these tractors with the trailers every time they break don't put John Deere on toys that are such crap
