This toy is great! We have a ton of Geo Trax and my 4-year old LOVES them. I was going to buy him the GeoAir bridge for Christmas and decided this looked like more fun and I'm glad I purchased this instead! It's so fun for the kids to watch both the plane and trains crash through the barn doors. The pictures don't show it but there's also a "trap door" inside the barn that you can drop items through into the trains. Even my 1 1/2 year old daughter loves playing with Geo Trax.
My son got this for Christmas and it is very cute. I can see we are going to need to have a lot of batteries handy for this one! It was a huge hit Christmas morning. We bought all 3 pieces and linked them together. We noticed that the white plane that came with the airport was a lot easier to use than a seperate yellow plane that we purchased. It was much heavier and didn't move as quickly. Great for GeoTrax fans!
My sons, ages 2 & 6 received the entire GeoAir set for Christmas. We have this piece hooked to the main airport and bridge pieces. I don't think that this toy would be too great by itself though. I think that you need at least the main airport piece so that the planes have plenty of room to travel. Plus, if you only have this piece, you will have to buy the plane separately. This is the best part of the set, as the plane crashes through the swinging barn doors. My boys seem to love the set. Overall a good toy.
we purchased this for our 3 1/2 year old grandson, and he loves it. He wanted the yellow bi-plane and that is the one we got for him to fly through the barn, and also you can make the trains go through the barn, and that can cause a few problems if the plane and train try to go through at the same time, but all in all, lots of fun....
We bought this for my 3 year old son and he absolutely loves it! My husband even enjoys playing with it. We added it to my sons Geo collection. If you add it to the airport and the bridge and get 3 planes going, it gets really exciting! Geotrax is such a fun toy for young/old (my husband) kids. :) I also have a 17 month old son who loves watching the jets fly and trains going thru. Totally worth the $$.
My son, who is now 8, still requests Geo-Trax for his holiday gifts. We have been collecting it since the beginning and it is still his favorite toy! The Barnstormer was this years must-have item. He loves it! Just be careful not to send a train through the barn at the same time as the plane or there will be a crash!
We purchased the Fisher-Price GeoAir for our three year old- he loves it and so do we. I expected it to not work so well - but it exceeded my expectations by alot - it is durable and works great - I even like playing with it. My son also received the GeoAir airport piece and that works great as well, I can't wait to connect them together. Other reviewers are right that a train and the plane cannot go through the barn at the same time - but that doesn't bother us as we have enough track to build around it and give them time to go through - plus it is fun to stop and start the plane. I would highly recommend this as an addition to your GeoTrax set.
My son got this for Christmas. It was easy to set up, he is 4 and could do it himself. If you do not overtwist the track, it works just fine. We currently have two planes on a track that connects all three flying tracks. My husband and I love this as much as my son!
This item was very important to our son and we were very happy Walmart got this item in. It's a great addition to the Geo Trax system we have.
My son has a ton of the GeoTrax trains and sets, so when we found the new plane sets, we got this one. It would be great if the barn was a little higher, because when the plane goes through the doors, there's not enough clearance for the train to go through too so they get stuck. I don't see the point of having the tracks for the train on it if the train is going to get stuck with the plane everytime it goes through the barn.
