I purchased this as a Christmas present for my two year old son for Christmas last year. I was worried it would be too big but he has been driving since day one! He loves it! Well worth the money! We have the green one. (Wish the black one would have been available!)This is sturdy and well made. Will be around for several years. I have several small nieces and nephews that come over often so this jeep is used regularly and often abused but it keeps on going. Works great in grass too!
Well i looked over the other peoples reviews before i bought it. dont waste your time with the nah sayer reviews. i got this for my daughter for christmas. alot of those people are complaining about small things. but the big thing is that it does very well offroad. when i bought this i had to take something into consideration. this was, where is she going to ride it. i have a parking lots that is dangerous for her to ride in so that leaves the back there is hills, ruts, thick grass, and mud. she can ride through all of it. there are somethings you need to know one my daughter will be three in two months just in case you where wondering if your kid is old enough. there are two speeds 2.5 and 5 if your going to have them riding on the sidewalk or the parking lot 2.5 works fine. but if your going to do a little offroading go with 5. 2.5 does well off road but there are some obstacles that 2.5 can not handle. if your kid gets stuck in 2.5 put it in 5 and watch them roll through with ease. something else to keep in the back of your head when you are going to pick this thing up from the store. USE A TRUCK OR SUV. it comes in a HUGE box. there is some assembly but for those who like to put things together enjoy. ok so some people complained about some things. i want to silence all that. there where some people complaining about the fact that the navegation lights don't light up. well they dont. also that the seats dont adjust. well they dont. and that the radio doesnt work well my kids radio picked up alot of stations. this is simple. one if you think about it. if the vehicle had flashing light that would kill the power. more power more fun. Two the seats. seriously if your kid wants to ride it they will figure it out. my daughter couldnt touch the pedel but she moved up and it didnt stop her. dont be picky your kids will love it just for what it is. last thing. customizing i know there are alot of people thinking but i have a girl and it is to boyish but think that way nomore. i have attached a picture of what i did to my daughters this thing comes in all gray and pink works very well. if you want to do the samething this is vinyl stickers you can pick them up at any store that makes signs. if you do the vinyl put the vehicle together first. well if you have taken the time to read this. you will know what to expect. this is a great toy, gift, or product what ever you want to call it.
Let's start with the negative, there is no longer a simulated nav system on this (who cares). Now thats out of the way, my boy LOVES this thing. Everything else advertised about this is true. We've had other battery operated riders that get no traction. Fisher Price Power Wheels has worked that issue out The PW Hurricane goes just about everywhere. This unit is sturdy, easy to put together and easy for my 3 year old to operate. Don't waste your time with others you'll love this one
My children love this jeep, it's has a sit belt for each child, easy to learn how to drive, has big wheels, 12v battery, nice decoration. For me took 2 hours to assemble by my own. It's expensive jeep but it worth the money!!! My 3 years and 1.5 year daughters love it!!! And this jeep keeps my kids busy playing outside.
This is probably the most durable ride-on in the less-than-a-grand market. It's bigger than most, has more durable gears and battery, and plenty of room for 2 kids. I bought it for my grandson last xmas (11 months of service so far) he uses it at least a couple of times a wek and it's holding up perfectly. There's no question you need a second battery and this one uses Fisher Price's special orange top. You'll have to shop around for a second one. Grass, mulch, up hills - everything works. There are lots of cheaper units out there, but this may be the best buy over time.
my 3 year old son love it, everyday he asked me ,can we go jeeping for a little bit? he used to have the wrangler so this is an upgrade for him and he sure knows how to handle it, the radio, for get about it is useless,it goes through pretty much everywhere but get stuck in loose dirt or sand hills,i replace the headlights cover with stick and tap battery led lights and fit perfect in the headlight socket.
I admit I have spoiled my kids, but the satisfaction I get out of it makes it worth it. This will be the 4th powerwheels my 3 year old and 20 month old add to their stable, but this is by far the king. I also have the F-150 truck and this is bigger. There is a ton of room, and these things run forever. Ignore reviews that state the quality isn't there. It is. You just need to take care of them. You cant push around the rear of the unit because the gears are plastic! But use some common sense and these will last a LONG time. The abuse that has been dealt out on my other 3 would leave lesser ride-ons in shambles. The only other option is the Peg Peregos. But this will withstand years of abuse. Expensive, but definitely worth it. This Jeep is COOL.
This jeep is great, but ... 1. it is not black, it is a dark gray. 2. radio is AM, not FM. and the biggest for me was that it says that the dashboard is interactive, well....it IS NOT! I really researched which jeep to get my son. He loves it! I was just really disappointed and misled...I probably wouldn't have bought it and spent this much money if I had known the dash wasn't interactive. I would have taken it back due to the fact that i was misled, but i was not about to put all pieces back in HUGE box and try to get it back to Walmart. Also, we put it together one week before xmas and there was NO WAY i was going to be able to get a different one in time for xmas. It is a great jeep and my kids will love it as the weather gets warmer, but description was misleading!
My 5 year old loves it. It was easy to assemble, took me 2 hrs. Charged the battery first time for 18hrs as instructed, has been running for 8 hrs now. Wish it had more features like real headlights and tail lamps rather than stickers. The picture shows black, but got gray in the box. Over all this is the best in looks and size.
We purchased this Jeep for my 3 yr old & were very dissappointed!! My 6 yr old has the blue one & loves it. This one says it has the adjustable seat & interactive dashboard like the blue one & it DOSE NOT!! My 3 yr old couldn't even reach the pedal..Power Wheels told me to attach a wood block to the pedal so she could reach! Not as good as they use to be...seems that they have cut back on quality to keep the price the same. Tail lights have been replaced by stickers of tail lights! At least we were able to return it to walmart with no problems...Thank you Walmart!
