[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the DRONE THUNDERBOLT JET X LAST WEEK. I was simply amazed by it. IT came COMPLETELY assembled all you need to do is charge it and put 3 AA batteries in the remote and its ready to fly .its very easy to control i had bought my son and grandson other drones before they flew very well. But I can honestly say none of them has ever flown as high as this one did .I think it makes a difference because the jet drone is made of foam and the propellers are plastic but the foam part is a very sturdy foam. It is very lightweight in my opinion that is why it flies so high. There is nothing I don't like about this drone.i absolutely love the DRONE THUNDERBOLT JET X AND I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.

The Drone Thunderbolt Jet X comes with an easy to use hand remote controller with a flying range of about 250ft radius, the remote uses three AA-batteries (which are not included), but the remote is really nice. The Drone plane is very stylish, in black color, and made with light weight foam. It contains four strong rotors, and a nice landing wheel in the front nose of the plane. The Drone Thunderbolt Jet X can do high flying, 360 degree flip stunts, and it has an awesome assisted easy landing. You want your kids to have long hours of fun and joy, then you got to get one of this amazing Drone Thunderbolt Jet X sold by F.A.O SCHWARZ!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is going to be FUN! I suggest an open field like a school playground or park to avoid trees and power lines! The jet itself is about 14 inches long and 10 inches wide! It is made of styrofoam like material with plastic spinning wings (comes with extras also). The LED light up red and the landing wheels spin to assist landing on hard surfaces. We haven't had a chance yet to do all the features on the remote but it is going to be a lot of fun doing it all. We did fly it straight up and it was quick and then we flew it sideways. The neighbors dog didn't like it so much and started barking at it which set off their baby crying- ooops- sorry! But the jet makes a low buzzing/humming sound which just adds to it in a positive manner. It is very lightweight so try to avoid hard crashes! Can't wait to get a chance to try it out at the play ground! Well done!

It does take a little bit of time learning how to work the controls. It has an advanced autopilot system which helps alot when you are learning how to fly it. The battery lasted alot longer than I thought it would and it has long range control to about 250 feet. We have had so much fun playing with this drone I totally recommend buying one, you will love it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Control uses 3 AA batteries and the drone is charged by a cord that can be plugged into a normal USB adapter. The drone is made of a styrofoam material that seems pretty durable and feels pretty strong. The 4 electric motors offer plenty of power to fly the drone and do stunts. A downside to the drone is the short battery life. After charging for 70 minutes as the directions say, there was only about 10 - 12 minutes of actual flying time before needing to be recharged again.

It was ready to use and all we did is charged it before use. Its super light in weight. The instruction manual was helpful in understanding all the features. Once charged, my husband used it outside and we all were amazed with the abilities of this drone. It was flying high and steadily without any issues. The joystick control was easy to use. Moreover, it has a rechargable battery, so no worry about running out of batteries. Its a nice beginner drone with some amazing abilities.

We can play it at hone or camping which will give the grandkids something fun to do. I like the advance autopilot system and the way it does stunts but I wish it had a camera so we could see what we were doing up close.

Unfirtantely on the second outing with it, we had it fly into the sun, hit the landing button but lost the drone. Cool lights and colors, short run time, wish it lasted longer. Seems well constructed. Instructions are very prompt and hard to figure out. Never figured out the stunt button. A beeper NEEDS to be added to find this. It is apparent with the number of lost drones this would be beneficial. Looked in the tall grass for hours but not able to find it and no way to retrieve by following a sound.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought this would be great for my son but it broke with one fly . Broke right I half . It's easy to charge and set up . I wish the material was a bit better so it wouldn't break so easily . I tried to tape it a little but it didn't help .
