My son loves this toy. He moves pretty fast as well. He did great on the tracks.
My 3 year old son loves this toy. He moves pretty fast with a lot of power, however the description reads wrong about the batteries, this Diesel takes 1 C size battery.
My 5 yr old son was very excited to get this train for his birthday! Unfortunately, the battery info was wrong on the package (says it requires 1 "AA") so he had to play without batteries til we got home. It really uses 1 "C" battery. Otherwise, he LOVES all the TRACKMASTER trains! He owns about 35 and still wants more! Kids under 3 like to "click" the motor by holding the wheels while running the engine, so I wouldn't suggest it for kids under 3 (as package says).
