Defective Garage Door Button

Our son received this for Christmas, and right out of the box the button to pop the garage door open did not work. It looked like it didn't connect with the little hook necessary to pop the door open once the button was pressed so all you could do was manually pull the door open. The door, also seemed slightly twisted which could be why it didn't connect. We returned it to the store and they happily replaced it, but we had to look through several different ones before we could find one that looked like the door actually latched the way it was supposed to. One, I could even see the little plastic part that latched appeared to have snapped off. We were able to get a good one, so our son is quite happy. He loves the doors and ramps and little spy/secret agent pieces you can add to Mater. Fun toy. Unfortunate disappointment with the first one. Hopeful we don't have any problems with the durability of that door down the road.
