I had a different companyâs router before hand and just wasnât getting what I wanted. I thought If Iâm paying so much for internet why em I not getting my moneyâs worth so I went out to find the best product for my money, lo and behold I found this router!! I should mention that I have a lot of devices connected to my internet and the router I had was just not keeping up! When I came home with this router I was a little worried it would be a pain to set up but it took maybe 5 minutes!! It was so simple and easy, with the app that they provide you can manage who uses your internet and how long they use it for! I have all my devices connected and havenât had an issue at all!! I would usually use my data on my phone because it was faster than what I was getting with my old router but now I have no complaints! I highly recommend
Initial installation done by setting up account on phone first with Nighthawk app since there was no internet connection. After that was done, installation included another phone, 2 iPads, 2 TVs for streaming, Kindle and WiFi printer. Note: put new network password directly on the printer panel to connect to WiFi. That took a while to figure out!
The AC2300 has been my most worthwhile purchases in my 25 years on the planet! Like as a gamer i can truly say that I have no idea how i was playing games prior to this router being in my life. top notch speeds
Provides excellent connection and speeds to all devices. Highly recommended going into desktop router admin login to turn on QoS. This will reroute traffic and improve your experience by redirecting bandwidth to devices that need it most, like streaming or gaming. Bitdefender suite of add-ons is exceptional, especially the VPN for devices. Also Smart Connect for optimal wifi speeds between 2.4 and 5.0 GHz. The app works perfectly for turning internet connection off/on for any device.
This product works very well. Provides excellent coverage for all of our mobile devices. A must have! Just be careful not to touch the wi-fi button or it will turn it off. It has to be reset to practically get wi-fi up again. Besides that an amazing product.

Me and my wife bought the netgear nighthawk AC2300 because we both game and stream movies and needed something faster then what was provided to us from our cable provider. We combined the nighthawk with the netgear CM1000 Ultra-High Speed cable modem with docsis 3.1. The setup with the nighthawk app is extremely easy and when setup it is extremely fast! Wifi signal through the house, I've had to use customer service before but not this time! Has a real nice sleek design! No more looking at the loading screen, no more pausing during shows or freezing when gaming, both me, my wife and our son can play and watch TV in different rooms with no lag at all! My wifes parents also had me pick up the same setup for their house and no complaints from them. Also if your kid gets in trouble and is grounded, use the nighthawk app and cut off the signal to their device, its that simple. Would definitely recommend to everybody
I got this one cause my buddies at the AC1750 and I wanted that, saw this one had better speeds and range so I decided to get the upgraded version. Love it, literally have no complaints at all after about 30 days.
I purchased this wireless router to add to my present home network I have a D-Link DSR-250 and a Netgear R6300 version 1. and wanted to add the Netgear nighthawk R7000P to increase the coverage in my home. My plan was to connect the R6300 into the R7000P, and plug the R7000P into the DSR-250. The reason I was doing this way was the R63000 no longer gets firmware updates, so I wanted to use the R7000P to scan all the traffic from the R6300, amd have better wifi coverage since I am working from home with the coronavirus restrictions and working from my office. The instructions in the box are poor, you need a smartphone to set it up the first time or when you do a factory reset. There is a QR code on the plastic wrap on the router, My advice is to peel off the stick from the plastic wrap and place it on the router for reference in case you need to reset the router. You have to be plugged directly into the router or be on the routers wifi to configure it. Does not work using your current network. After the initial set up you can go into the router setting and set it up to be accessed from your local network. Now that I have it configured to do what I need it works well. You set up may not be as complexed as mine , but the setup is not quick unless you use all the default setting
worked great until it didn't work. My cousin had bought te exact sameone and said it broke on him a few months later. I thought it was just badluck. I bought mine in January and it has stop working now in Aug. Rip off!!!
