I got this set for my two year old son. He takes the bag everywhere. the pieces are large so im not worried about him choking on the pieces. clean up is fast and easy.
Mega Bloks were a perfect gift for my 17 month old son. Blocks fit together and come apart easy enough for him to do it himself. Sometimes picking up large creations is tricky because they come apart so easily, but this is better than him not being able to pull them apart. First day of playing, he loved it and learned the word "blocks". I like that it's fun for dads too. Sometimes he wants me to build so he can destroy. This package contains more of the smaller sized blocks than I was expecting, but it is still a good value with plenty of blocks.
These are great entertainment for my child (and his father). Cheapest place I have found this set of bloks.
We purchased these for our son's 1st birthday and he LOVES them. Perfect size for him and he loves to dump them out of the bag. Highly recommended.
I bought this product for my son about a year ago and we moved across the country and he lost most of them during the move so I bought him some more, and some more, and some more. He now has over 600 bloks. It's worth it though, he loves building anything he can with them and they're actually quite fun to play with even if you're an adult. I play bloks with him all the time and we have a blast together. Well worth the money!!
My twin 2 yr. old grandsons love these, and there are enough peices they can both build things.
My 1-year-old son got this gift for his birthday, and his favorite things so far include: dumping out the bag so he can kick through the blocks to make noise and a mess, and knocking over Mommy's castles (but leaving Daddy's untouched). He's having fun, and so are we. The family can play with these together.
I brought these blocks for my grandson for Christmas in which he would be 16 months old so I am sure he is going to these blocks.
We love these! Colors are good and the blocks are sturdy and work well. The only downfall is that there are a lot of smaller blocks then we prefer therefore no way to build a good sturdy base to make your creation taller/bigger. Would be nice to have more larger blocks for a base. Otherwise our 18month old loves them. She can grab them easily, pull them apart and stack them (with a little help). The pull apart with just enough ease for her but stay together well.
Overall satisfied....good value. Only slightly negative thing to say is the smaller blocks don't stick together well...happy with the purchase though...would by it again.
