I bought these for my almost 2 yr old grandson. He has had some like it for 6 months and they fasinate him. He needed more to continue to build and use his imagination and this was a great value. These blocks are sturdy and can hold up to heavy play. (He used to walk on them). Now he sits for at least 30 min and for 2 that is a long time, building things alone. I like that the blocks are big enough for little hands to be able to actually fit the pieces together. With someone playing with him he will sit for an hour working on these. They come in a smaller version for older children but for 2-4 yr olds this is THE block set to have. They also make this block in a set that does not have quite as many if you dont want the amount that comes here. Great buy!
