I have a very active 3 year old that loves trains and cars. we got the table in Nov 2007 and love it so much we are wanting another one. So we have a train table and a race track for cars. My husband it was pretty easy to put together. Did have to use glue that was not included in box to make sure would stay together for a active boy. But after 6 months no problems yet.
I bought this train table for my son to get his tracks up off the floor. When I got the box it was huge, I really didn't expect it to be so big, so that was a plus. I was expecting it to be a job to put together, but much to my suprise I didn't need any tools and in less than 15 minutes (including unpacking it) it was together and he was playing with his trains on it. It's made of solid material and should hold up well for years. I highly recommend this product.
This table is well worth the value. It is a sturdy table and large enough to fit a big track on. My son is 2 1/2yrs and LOVES it. He plays with it everyday. I would highly recommend this table.
I just picked this train table up at the Walmart using the ship to store option. It saved me a bundle of money to purchase this train table online and then pick up in a matter of a few days. It arrived undamaged. The assembly is super quick and simple. No tools necessary. The table definitely takes up quite a bit of space. So if you plan on setting this up, make sure to have plenty of room. The dimensions are available on the product details. My son absolutely LOVES his new train table. He has a Thomas & Friends wooden train set with railway and extension set. It fits nicely on the train table and it's spacious enough to expand the railway if you want. The product is definitely good quality wood and very sturdy. The graphics and pictures on top of the train table are perfect. I'm very pleased with this product and after perusing various websites looking for train tables, I think I definitely made a good decision in purchasing this one. Also, the Walmart site definitely sells this train table cheaper than all of the others: Example--Toys R Us, Target, etc....
I love this table & so do our 2 year old twins! It took me less thank 10 minutes to assemble...by MYSELF!You don't even need any tools, it's so easy! Great product for the money. We are very happy with our purchase!
My son loves this table. He got it for his 4th birthday and he couldn't wait to get it put together, which took like maybe 10 mins. He plays on it everyday with his Thomas the train sets. Which work perfect with the table. Excellent product, highly recommend it.
This is the same train table you see on other websites, but for less. Even with shipping, it was cheapest. I doesn't hold miles of track, but it does hold a Thomas set with an extension set nicely.
This is a good quality product especially for the price. It was very easy to put together. My 2 1/2 year old loves it!
I ordered my site to store to save on shipping costs. It ends up being about half the price of a similar Thomas table we were also looking at. Assembly was really simple. The table top warped a few days after we set it up, so it's not completely flat anymore, but my two boys (2 & 4 year olds) don't care & if you do, just keep your original box and receipt for refund or exchange.
I am a mother of a 2-1/2 yr. old little boy. All he wanted for Christmas were trains and a train table. We purchased this particular table because: 1. it was made by KidKraft, which was supposed to be a well made train table and 2. this table was competitive in price vs. the other tables. This table fell apart TWO times. My husband ended up putting the table back togeter with our own nuts and bolts. You should have seen the hardware they sent with this table. The screws were less than 1/2". No wonder the table fell apart. It was a nightmare!!! Don't buy this table unless you buy your own nuts and bolts!!!!!!
