This set is awesome. The design is simple and clean. Our three year old grand daughter plays with it everyday she visits. One of her favorites. Especially when she pairs it with the plastic foods we purchased at WalMart-we are alsways getting ready for a picnic or a tea party.
The product is very safe for kids to use. It's a low risk for injury. Kids will be happy with this product. Any little girl will have a great tea time.
We got this for our 2 year old son who loves to play with our neice's dishes. These are more sturdy than most we've seen (including our necie's). They are also neutral colors! You wouldn't believe how hard it is to find dishes that are not a shade of pink and/or don't a princess picture on them! I like that the sporks aren't sharp and that there's only 2 sets of dishes/silverware--otherwise it gets to be too many pieces.
My 3 year old and 5 year old are really enjoying the pots, pans, plates, pitcher, cups, salt and pepper shakers! They love to pretend that they are making food for me, or for their dolls or stuffed animals. This set has a lot of useful pieces and seems to be very sturdy to last a long time.
We needed a play set to replace some parts to a small kitchen set. I was looking for something sturdy and child safe, as I have an eight month old who gets into the toys. This set has plenty of toys for "cooking" and "serving" and is sturdy enough to with-stand the two year old who drags it out to play with it. The colors are neutral and so go with any play set. I'd buy it again.
As with the Step 2 pretend food, I thought this set was very well made. The thick plastic appears to be made to last and is nice looking.
I purchased a beautiful kitchen set at Walmart that included these pots, pans and dining set 4 yrs ago for my 3yr old granddaughter who is now 7yrs. This product is strong, durable, has smooth edges, dishwasher proof to my surprise. This product will last for many many years. Now I want to purchase another set for my 2yr old granddaughter who is ready for this beautiful sturdy pots & pans dining set. I've searched to purchase another set, need help to find it, zip 92879. nice variety of pots and pans. Nice that there are lids because grandson loves to have pots with lids. Do not know why there are holes in some of the pieces. I have a set of these that came with the Step 2 Kitchen and there are no holes in the bottoms of the bowls and glasses but there are in this set.
My daughter loves this set. I bought it with the Step 2 Kitchen and Shopping cart W/food and she plays for hours. Only complaint is that she leaves the food all over the house. LOL!
My daughter loves the set, but doesn't quite get the concept because she's only a year old. Right now, she's only into biting the set.
