I'm so happy I found these on sale. My 5 year old is obsessed with them and I can't find them in stores right now.
I was so happy that I purchased this, I've only purchased a few treasure X toys. But the person I purchased this for never got the real gold piece until I purchased this! But seeing the smile on their face when they got the gold piece they wanted was definitely worth the price! Plus the characters look pretty cool as well
Perfect for my 7 year old, he loved it and wants more of them. My 4 year old also seems to like it too.
It is messy and that's part of the fun! My grandsons said that having to dig through the clay to find all the body parts and treasure is more fun than the King's Gold version where you have to break through and pull out blue goo to find a whole character. With this version, you have to put your characters together which is also more fun than finding him in one piece. My grandsons love getting Treasure X every time I give it to them. If it's a bad weather day, then the King's Gold version is great for indoors.

My little nephew can't get enough if treasure x. I have bought so many if these. He loves digging them out of the sand and putting them together.
I hate the mess this makes but, oh, how the kids love it. This time I had them do the 'dig' outside. I liked that there were two treasures-one for the birthday boy
Can be a bit messy because of the sand but my son having a good time finding all of the "treasure" makes it worth it.
These make a great rainy (or sunny!) day activity for kids... My 5 year old loves finding 'treasure' and we love using these as the prize for our backyard treasure hunts. For younger kids around 5, it's best to soak these in water so they're easier to dig through. For older kids, that's probably not really necessary. The toys themselves are just okay, but the treasure hunting, digging, and discovering experience that we use these for is great... the kids really love it. I highly recommend doing these outside, especially with younger kids, as digging through the 'rock' for the treasure can produce quite a mess!
Although we did receive the 2-pack Treasure X, we thought it would be the specific characters shown in the picture in the website but it wasn't. That was a disappointment.
