I was excited to try the makeup eraser but what came in was a small piece of fabric it worked good on getting my eyeshadow off but the cloth was too small to get all my foundation off I wish they made bigger samples instead of small pieces of fabric
I loved this product - much gentler on my skin than a traditional makeup wipe, and feels nicer too! The only downside is that I do love using a fresh makeup wipe & then disposing of it, and these you have to clean often in order to not feel like you're washing your skin with a dirty cloth.
The makeup eraser is good at taking makeup off before washing your face. I ordered a 2 pack online one for me and one for my daughter. It was advertised as a 2 pack for $40.00. They sell anywhere between $17-$20 at other retailers. I only received 1 in the box and the seller would not honor the 2 pack deal. I'm out $20.00 because my daughter used hers before I could get the ordering issue resolved. I did not get the ordering issues resolved. Be careful with your choices when ordering with Walmart!
It's a compact towel that is great to have when traveling or when you're on-the-go. As for the "magic" qualities--as someone who adheres to a rather long wash/cleanse/moisturizing routine, I do not trust this to do a good job in comparison, and found myself using my cleansers after using this eraser, and indeed noticed I didn't get all my makeup off using only eraser. But, for what it's worth, it's a great addition to the bag when--say--you're at the airport after a 15-hour flight and you're waiting 6 hours for your next transfer and you want to freshen up (it's a lifesaver in those kinds of situations). It is a soft polyester material and is gentle on the face. It does stain the towel (makeup) so I would suggest washing it fairly regularly and thoroughly. I received this product in return for my unbiased review.
I was a little skeptical when i first got the Makeup eraser especially since it just looked like a regular towel. To my surprise, its super easy to use and really quite effective to remove eye make up (which is typically hard to do esp when using something waterproof). I was travelling right after i got this and I found that it was super easy to carry along versus having to pack my big box/packet of regular makeup wipes. Would definitely buy again!
Got this as a gift. Pros: it's super soft and easy to use - and it does remove eyeshadow and foundation. Cons: it's not so effective in removing waterproof mascara
