While not necessary equipment for most babies, this scale has been very helpful for use with our baby, who has feeding difficulties. It is very accurate, unless she is crying & won't be still. The music sometimes helps with that, but not always. We appreciate the "memory" feature, that flashes up the last weight recorded before clearing to zero. Also the "zero out" feature is helpful so I can put a blanket down on it and not have its weight calculated in. I also like that it turns off on its own before long to save the battery. It's a good product to have if you have a baby whose weight needs to be monitored closely.
This baby scale is a wonderful addition to the nursery! The baby's weight is now easily recorded and gives a peace of mind knowing that the baby is gaining weight. The shipping of the product was great and really appreciated that it does not need any assembly before use. Also the batteries were included which allowed the scale to be used immediately upon opening!
I was breastfeeding my son and wanted to know how much he was getting at each feeding. I weighed him before breastfeeding and then right after. It was accurate because I would do the same before I gave him a pumped bottle of milk and I would check to see if the scale read the same of the number of ounces I gave him. This scale gave me great piece of mind and I would highly recommend it!
I exclusively breast feed our baby and I was not sure how much milk he was getting and if he was gaining weight correctly. My Mother took pity on me and bought me the scale. It is wonderful at least once a week I get his pre feed naked weight and he is gaining wonderfully. I can also do a pre and post feed weight with this scale. I have recommend this scale for several moms who breast feed. It is accurate to the .5 ounce.
Love it.
Good Scale, Works great stores easy, low profile. This was a gift for my daughter who has a brand new baby boy. She likes it a lot. it allows her to easily track my grandsons weight between visits to the pediatrition, and Just to know anytime how is his weight. Simple to use, put the baby on it.
This is a very nice unit. I got it to weigh puppies. Even with their wiggling and squirming, I get accurate measurements everytime. Do not, however, count on delivery by the date promised. Mine was shipped via FedEx Smartpost and arrived 4 days after Walmart's promised delivery date.
This scale is great for weighing baby before and after breastfeeding. You can tell exactly how much the baby is getting and this scale is very accurate. It is the best way to make sure that you are feeding the baby well. It will save you from thinking your baby needs any formula. Breastmilk is the best for all babies and this scale will help you succeed at breastfeeding.
Great scale for weighing babies. It is cold, as it is plastic but it has a feature to adjust the weight for a blanket out so the baby isn't getting cold being on it. The scale only takes seconds to calculate weight. Why so long? Baby is moving and it has to average all the movements to get an accurate reading. It works great. My son is growing like crazy and this allows us to see how much extra he grows during growth spurts and also make sure he is getting enough to eat every day, averaging normal weight gain. Dislikes? The music. To me, it is too loud for my son and there's no volume control but this wasn't a critical need for us.
The digital scale has been completely accurate each time we have compared it to the scale at the pediatrician's office. I am very pleased with its accuracy. However, the music feature is entirely too loud, and we will never use this feature with the baby on the scale. The price of the scale seems a little steep, but we were in a hurry to purchase since our baby was three weeks early. Had we had time to shop around, we probably would not have purchased this particular scale.
