I had a similar experience to another reviewer here.... we used periodically for a few months, but after less than 10 uses, the digital display stops working.
Clever, compact design, but very poorly made. The digital display started flickering and became unreadable after just a few uses. Given the low price, my expectations were not that high when I bought the product, but it still managed to disappoint. YMMV, but I recommend that people pass on this product based on my experience.
The scale is not very good. I regret purchasing it. I cannot seem to get a good handle on a writhe when I use it. The numbers vary too dramatically during a single feeding (either the different e is too large for what we know my baby can consume or does not change at all after an hour of feeding). Even thought baby scales seen to be hard to come by ( I couldn't find one anywhere else) I would take a pass on this product. We don't even use it anymore.
Do not purchase this scale. It worked well for the first few days but after the first couple of uses the digital display stopped working correctly. Would only show part of the numbers. Extremely frustrating
That's right. Just once. I bought this scale to weigh puppies, as I had a litter of puppies due on 10/26 and we weigh them daily for the first couple of weeks to make sure they are gaining weight and thriving. The construction is poorly thought out. When you hit the "tare" button, it effects the weight - adding more on because the scale is built so that the entire housing is part of the weighing process. That's just dumb. You can't press a button without weight going up. Also, the scale worked once - the very first time we used it. Since then, it consistently shows 1.0 oz. on the display, with nothing on the scale, and will not re-tare at all. I will be returning this stupid thing. Not worth the money or the aggravation.
