This thermometer makes taking my babies temperature so easy! It helps you make sure you are positioned correctly and checks the temperature very fast.I will definitely use this as my go to thermometer.
I really like this thermometer. My favorite feature is that it lets you know when the thermometer is properly placed in the ear for an accurate temperature. I also like that it has a backlight to make it easy to use in the dark. It's quick and easy to use and it always gives an accurate temperature. The only problem I ran into was that I could not get it properly placed in our newborn's ear. He has tiny ear canals and I couldn't get it to work for him. He's growing quickly so I'm sure it won't be long before it works for him too.
This ear thermometer solved all my problems with baby/toddler thermometers before this! It takes less than 30 seconds to get an accurate reading with a cranky child, compared to upwards of 2 full minutes with an under the arm thermometer. Also, my toddler never gets upset using this thermometer! I highly recommend this product.
I'm so glad that I gotten this Ear Thermometer it's been very useful when my little one was sick and he didn't mind it in his ear it was like he was at the Dr's.
This product came at the perfect time. My oldest daughter brought home a cold from school and soon enough, we all had it. This thermometer was easy to use on all three children (ages 4 months-12 years) and was fast and accurate. I've already recommended it to other mom friends!
This ear thermometer has a thinner shape than most but still does the job! I do like the thermometer beeps letting you know it is in the correct position. The screen turning colors based on temperature is also awesome. Oh and it even beeps if temperature is in the "red"!
Everybody needs a thermometer. This product is the perfect size & very easy to use. It lights up & beeps when put in the proper position! Perfect for late nights when you don't want to turn on the light & wake up the house. The bright number display is easy to read & has warning beeps when it reads a fever. I highly recommend this product.
It is nice to have a quicker thermometer but our 9 month old doesn't like it in her ear. You have to hold it at the perfect angle and wait a few seconds to get a reading. With a squirmy baby it is hard to do. Maybe an older child it would work great.
Although I have not actually had the opportunity to use this product for its intended purpose as neither of my children have been sick since receiving this, some of my initial observations are as follows: - the product will not read the temp unless it is held at a certain angle. This can be tough especially with a squirmy toddler or baby. - once placed in ear you must wait for 3 lines to appear on the screen, this indicates the thermometer is being held at the right angle. This can take a few seconds, again squirmy, screaming toddler may not be cooperative. Also while waiting for the 3 lines the screen is not lit up, which might make it difficult to see for someone taking a temp in the dark, like I often do. As I started above I can not vouch for the accuracy of this thermometer as I have yet to use it on a sick kid.
I hate this thermometer. I don't think that it takes an accurate temperature reading. Whenever my one year-old clearly has a temperature it reads is 97.8, and other thermometers will read it as a fever. I would not recommend this thermometer also because you have to have it at a certain angle in the child's ear and wait for a light to come on before you can take the temperature otherwise an error message pops up and you have to turn the thermometer off and back on again. It's very frustrating.
