This is a great product. I have never used a spray gun before, but saw this and decided for $20, might as well try it. I already had a air compressor, just a small one that I got on sale for $50. I was painting my house and wanted to try spraying it. This product exceeded expectation. I mostly used it as an applicator, so I was spraying and going over the spray with a brush to make sure I got all the groves of the clapboards. I then used the gun for a fine finish of all the shutters. It worked great. It is easy to use, just pull it out of the box, fill with paint, hook it up to an air compressor and you are off. Cleaning it was pretty easy, just ran water through it until all the paint was gone. Overall if you are looking at this gun and already have a compressor, just buy it. It will be the best $20 you'll spend.
The spray gun was used to spray paint some wicker chairs--worked good.
I am retired and disabled, I am rebuilding my work shop and had to paint the inside. This job would have taken about four hours to paint with brush and roller. With this gun it took about thirty minutes. I felt that I had to thin the paint because the paint was so thick is would not strain through a paint strainer, so I thought that it would not work in the gun very well. It did a great job and my wife and I are very pleased, because I did not hurt when I got through.
A good general purpose gun. Sprays latex well, which many others do not. I wouldn't want to paint a house with a gun of this type, but for smaller projects, like wicker chairs, the capacity is sufficient. Excellent value.
Spray Gun works just like any of the $100 and up spray gun's sold somewhere else. Used it for painting moldings with latex paint and it did just fine however I had to thin the paint a bit so that the tip wouldn't clog and dry too fast. At about 20 bucks this gun cant be beat but don't expect to use this for a big project like a whole house because it will take you forever since it has a small spray area.
