I used this the 2nd day i had it and several times a month afterward. I NEVER had 1 MINUTE of trouble from this product. This product is also fairly easy to transport and very versatile. I used it with a frame nailer, a finish nailer, an impact wrench, and other various tools, as I have many hobbies. From construction to mechanics this product always preformed very well.
Great lil compressor. wish it had more scfm power Posted 05/26/2012 I got this home and it came with super instructions that had me using it in an hour.'broke it in, it filled up just fine, a perfect size & it is so easy to move around! it comes with GREAT accessories too. I'm a woman and I have a furniture rehab business,'had to downsize my business and spray the furniture myself,&I never used a compressor before or spray gun. I was told I would probably need a higher scfm compressor than this 8 gallon CH, because I was using an hvlp spray gun, that needed a 5.0-9.2 cfm,& this Didn't have this cfm. However, it worked w/a 2.0 nozzle, w latex paint and the finish was wonderful. The only problem I had was that it ran constantly, re-filling and it was a bit noisy for my neighborhood. I realized I needed a larger air tank compressor for this work &had to return this lil CH,& now regret it. I got a Harbor Freight 26 gallon compressor, it does not work easily, the instructions are awful, it just tells you safety things, repeatedly, not how to USE the compressor. it fills alright but as soon as the as soon as you set the psi,it begins loosing air, starts re filling the entire time you use it,& is very noisy! The air pressure is spotty, not consistent and the paint comes out spotty too. Bad bad finish!I couldn't complete painting my patio fence with it, using a household hvlp gun.Im returning it.'wish that this CH compressor was a bigger, like 15 gallons because it is so ez to use,so mobile &comes with very clear instructions. I would recommend CH for small jobs, but not spraying furniture.
I got the compressor out and followed the instructions for the breakin. A little while later I tried it out. After the motor kicked off when the pressure was high enough it did not kick on right. I could hear the motor trying to work but it would not so I turned it off immediately. I am getting everything together to return it. Hopefully I just got a bad one. I do plan to try another one.
