Exactly what I exoevted, maybe a little better
I have a 40 yr old 6'X 4' bookshelf. It was falling apart. Just to make sure it would be stable again, I used wood glue AND this Stanley Sharpshooter which made it sturdy again. It IS a GREAT buy!
no issues, no problems, great price. elsewhere for staples though
It works with concrete walls and doors to decorate the classroom
I was pretty happy with this stapler. I needed one when my old Powershot died. It has held up well and performed nicely. I used it for attaching chicken wire into 2 x 4's and it was great
Works well , the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I have a lot of pain in my hands and this is a little hard to push down. Having said that, it never misfired one staple even though I wasn't able to push it down with an even amount of pressure. I think most people would have no trouble with it.
I had the old chrome Stanley for years without any issue, but I wanted something a little more powerful, so I ended up choosing this model and giving my old staple gun to my friend. As I was reading the package it went on and on about how when you drive up to 14mm heavy duty staples or 15mm brad nails. Even on medium hardness wood It canât come close to driving either one of those more than halfway thatâs pretty disappointing. I have to finish each stapling job with a follow up - hammer in hand. So one of the things Iâm going to buy today is some 8mm or maybe 10mm staples. The reason I gave it three stars is because it does have something thatâs very handy and Iâm sure Iâll be able to use with smaller Staples: itâs a nice little fold down Wire guide right where the Staples come out of the gun. I donât know why didnât think of this sooner but itâs a great idea and Iâm sure you able to see in the photos Iâll send
well i bought this stapler for first use to staple down some hardwear cloth on my reptile cage and it work fairly. 2 out of 10 staples did not go in properly and had to be removed. it is hard to staple with great accuracy because the markers are hard to see when you get down to working. if you are just using it for little everyday use it is nice. it has a durable light weight aerocraft aluminum. the lever action is quite easy to launge.
I bought this Stanley Sharpshooter Staple Gun and used it three times, and then put it in my tool box for a year or so. The time came when I finally needed to use this staple gun, so I opened my tool box to find that the locking mechanism that holds the trigger handle down had "popped" and the black top of the gun had broken off. When I picked the thing up the trigger handle was free to flop up and down and could not be used at all. It was a shock to me because nobody had even touched the tool box for the year that it was in my closet, and the thing had killed itself. At first, the staple gun worked like a charm, and looked really nice, but it definitely wasn't the best purchase that I could have made. I wouldn't buy another one of these "lemon" staple guns ever, nor would I recommend that anyone else even consider purchasing this particular item either.
While the staple gun seems well built. It does NOT take stand the Stanley "UNIVERSAL FIT" (TRA type/ T50) Staples. It is just a millimeter or so too small to take them. Making a custom staple type for this staple gun makes this gun a bad purchase in the long run.
