This is the second one of this exact model I have purchased. I liked and depended on my first one so much that I hunted around to find the exact same model again. I love this staple gun!!! especially for its ease of loading staples into it.
Super easy to use! I've never used one before but I loaded it and used it without having to read the directions. Used for a reupholstery project and it was great!
The stapler doesn't fire right away. If it staples it works good. Although something must be wrong. Sometimes you depress the lever and after a few seconds it will fire. Sometimes you can back off a little on the handle after depressing and it will fire. Sometimes it just won't fire. It never fires right away. When you have a lot of staples set it just takes way too long. I had to go back to using a really cheap stapler I already had.
No longer pushing the rack of staples forward after a few uses. Somethings is either missing or worn at the end of the spring so it can't apply pressure on the stapled to force them towards the hammer
After limited light duty use fixing netting to timber framing, it has stopped working. It sounds very much like the same problem as the previous reviewer encountered in that the staples are not positioned so that the hammer can make contact.
Bought a month ago and used it once. Was showing signs of being broken already then - as the staples doesn't come out every time you fire it. On my second time using it, the staple gun was fully broken. A complete waste of money, unfortunately.
I bought this a couple of months ago. When I first used it it was fine. Second time I went to use it - nothing. I am so disappointed as Stanley tools are supposed to be good. This certainly isn't,
I bought this item and it failed after 1 month of use. I opened it and realised the spring inside is getting loose and not pushing the tray properly(looking at the design, it is meant to fail), so as a results the staples are not being pushed forward and the hammer is not touching the staple. this is very annoying as it is not a cheap item
My company buys this item in bulk- they are horrible! I'm replacing mine at least once a week. I waste over half the staples in the chamber- not very cost effective.... I lose so much time.
Haven't had the stapler that long and I had problems with the lever getting stuck and not being able to return to its normal position of ready. Instead it did nothing. Tried everything then I pulled out the staples and the whole thing feel apart. I went to YouTube and there is a lot of the same on this stapler. Even how to repair. Unfortunately there were none on how to try and put it back together and let me tell you there is a plethora of parts. So I ams sending it to the warranty center to see if it gets replaced.
