Very nice box for the price. I purchased it to use on a desk with no drawers. It is perfect for holding pens, tape, paper clips and other accessories. I painted it and did some decoupage to match my decor.
I purchased this to make create my very own writing box. My only wish is that it was a tad longer to completely fit a regular sheet of paper (8 1/12 x 11) on the inside. Otherwise, I am looking forward to adding my own latch and hinges and storing my fountain pens, ink and journal in this lovely box.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This box is crafted well and doesn't require any sanding. The fixtures are great too, very sturdy. It is smooth so it doesn't need sanding. Overall it was ready to go for my intended project. Very happy with this purchase. Worth the money.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This box was almost perfect for what I needed it for. I got it to paint a pokemon on and the use to store some of my pokemon cards. But after painting and sealing the box didn't close all the way anymore. But that was an easy fix, I attached a clasp to securely close the box. So now it's perfect.
I purchased this box because I got the idea from the Michaels store app. However, I designed my box differently than what the project said to do in the app. I pult black felt inside. I cut clipboard sheets to make a pocket and divide it in three sections. I covered the sheets with silver duct tape. The outside I will paint on the sides and do some pyrography on the top. This box will hold my pyrography tools. The box itself is very sturdy. However, I didn't like the fact that it doesn't have a latch.

I replace the hinges because I know that they are going to get a good workout from opening and closing. Easy to replace them and very inexpensive. The size is perfect too for keepsakes.
I just bought one of these in the store. It comes in plastic so you can't inspect it. Got home. Opened it. It's cracked inside and has TONS of glue everywhere. Perhaps the worst put together box I have ever purchased.
