I made the cutest table runner with this die. I also made a quilt as well. So very easy to get every leave the same size and width. I like to put it out for fall because its just so pretty. I can't really take the credit for it. It was the die that made it easy for me to put together. Thank you again for a wonderful die Accuquilt.
I bought this die so that I could put fall applique on kitchen towels. I am very new to applique. Cutting out these shapes are next to impossible by hand. Glad I bought this die and with my Embrilliance Essentials Go Edition software, I will be able to create easy appliqued leaves and pumpkins for my towels. Wish me luck as I am a newbie at applique!
Fall is one of my favorite time of years with the weather finally trying to cool off in Florida and the beautiful warm colors. I will be playing with this in the mid Summer to get everything ready for fall. I will be adding appliqués to my existing simple fall quilt to jazz it up and also towels and table runners, the list goes on.
Since fall is my favorite season I want to make every fall pattern I see. I will use this die over and over instead of tracing and cutting out the shapes that the patterns provide. With this die and my other fall dies I will be able to make lots and lots of fall projects quickly.
My favorite season of the year is fall so this die is one of my favorites. The shapes have some detail but not too much to stitch around. I have been experimenting with batiks to do some cuts within each shape to add dimension as I overlay it against a contrasting fabric. It makes great runners and quick quilts.
Love this appliqué die for fall quilting, it’s perfect .
Applique is not something I have a lot of experience doing, and this die gives me an opportunity to produce a quality looking project with very little effort. I can use smaller pieces of fabric from an ever growing stash, which is always a plus. .. .
When I sell my items at craft fairs, anything made with this die is the first to go - I've sold several tablerunners and a few wallhangings - everyone loves the finished product. I also make gifts with this - including a gift for this Christmas. The best part - you don't have to make the leaves fall-colored....instead they can be used in a summer time camping themed quilt. Lots of options.
This is a great die! I made the Fall Frolic Skinny Wall Hanging pattern that came with the die, It came out beautifully. Next Fall, I plan to use the die again for another project. I especially love the Maple and Oak leaves which would be really tough to cut out by hand.
I used this with some stiff iron on backing to some fabric, and taped these onto the wall for decorations for Halloween. They worked out really well, and I think they added a touch of whimsy to the room. I also have love the embroidery that goes with it, as I ended up making a table runner for Thanksgiving with this. Really lovely! I love this die!
