My husband and I are very impressed by this little machine. It is precise, there is very little learning curve, even for those in our family who are not used to crafter machines. We've made window decals, cards, t-shirts, felt wearables, and more...in the first few weeks.
We bought this on sale a couple of weeks ago and we just love it!! It is a hoot to play with and cut out and decorate items. The pen that comes with it makes amazing designs on cardstock to go along with the cut outs. We are just getting use to it but I foresee some cool projects in our future!!
I recently received my Cricut in the mail. I still have a lot to learn as there are so many things it can do but I'm learning slowly. I wasn't aware of all the crafts that can be made using it and once I started browsing it was endless. I'm pretty sure it's going to be one of my favorite purchases this year...
I previously had a silhouette but the Cricut is so much better! it's way easier to load, it's quieter, and has more designs to choose from. I also love that i can design something using my Iphone! i can also use the Cricut wirelessly. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.
There are so many things to make with this machine it's unreal...it's a crafters dream come true..and Walmart had the best price..also watch as many YouTube videos as you can to help with making things..
I really like this a lot. I had the scan n cut and that was an over priced joke compared to this. Unfortunately I went through a lot to get this machine. First one damaged, then second was damaged even before it left fedex and fedex sent it back and then had to spend an extra $20 to get another one overnighted. It has been a really annoying process with walmart but i got it and im quite happy with it. My only 2 gripes would be im not a fan of blue :( and my goodness the mat stinks of some chemical. Its bad even my husband commented on it.Cant be good to breathe in. Im actually a little shocked they would use something that strong. My scan n cut mat never smelled but the unit was nothing compared to the cricut. I would definitely recommend. I love the software!!! The only design flaw in the software I wish they had when you upload an image or words that it would let you move them independently. That was the only thing i actually liked about the scan n cut. You can only do this on the cricut with non uploaded images and words but other than that it truly is an amazing and quiet machine.
If you're a crafter you will LOVE creating with Cricut. There are supplies you need to buy to make anything besides the project ore-loaded in the machine. Cardstock, Vinyl, Transfer Tape , Special Color Pens and tool set are the basics
I bought this machine for my daughter who is absolutely delighted with it. She had a little problem connecting the cricut machine to her laptop with the enclosed cable but found out it was easier w/o the cable using the WI-FI in our house. Overall, she loves the machine and how easy it is to use it.
Purchased the Cricut Explore Air thru Walmart.com. item came as expected. However I used it twice and then internal power failed. Called Cricut directly. They replaced and second one works great! It was a pain shipping back because I didn't have local FedEx location, but we'll worth the troubles. Love the machine
This is my first Cricut cutting machine or any like it. My score of 3 is only because it has been hard to do what I want it to do. The videos show it can be done I just need to learn how. The cuts I have made are smooth & precise. I am sure I will like it more when I learn to use it.
