[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought a tool I've never even heard of....an oscillating saw. Kind of unnerving, but fun. The blade fit in so beautifully, made me confident in using the little saw!
I purchased this today and am anxious to try it out.I purchased my Rockwell Sonicrafter six months ago for a project where I had to trim the skirt of my guest house. I had wracked my brain trying to figure out a way to have a slow controlled trim and the Sonicrafter worked great at following a pencil line. Since the blades have measurement, I measured the depth of the skirt (3/4 of an inch) and painted a yellow stripe on the blade. As I used the Sonicrafter, I was able to have complete control with the yellow line as a stop mark. I love the way these blades cut through any wood like butter. The Rockwell Sonicrafter worked so well that besides cutting wood, I will be buying the grout blade and regrout a bathroom. Control feels right when working with any power tool and this IS right.
I've had problems getting some generic blades to efficiently cut. When I saw these on sale I purchased them. They are head and shoulders above the generic blades!
