My 6 year old daughter bought this with her birthday money back in August and she loves to play with it. She figured out how to play pretty quickly but a younger child may have difficulty navigating around the different play areas. This product does run on batteries, so keep an extra set on hand, they tend to run down quickly.
I keep this videogame at my house for my granddaughter. You just have to plug it into the TV set and all the games are in the controller. My 5 year old granddaughter manuvers around the different games with ease and it keeps her interest. This is not too hard to be frustrating but not so easy for her to get bored. She loves it. I'd recommend it for 41/2 year olds to 7 year olds.
My grand daughter had this on her christmas wish list, so I reluctantly bought it thinking it was going to be cheaply made, but, to my surprise, it is really cute, and works great! It's May now, she'll be nine in a few days, and she still plays with it almost everyday. It teaches her responsibility. She has to win different games to buy kibbles so she can feed them and buy them the things they need. Plus, she can hook it up by herself! I bought the batteries made for electronic devices and they're still going strong.
I gave this to my 6 year old daughter for her birthday and she couldn't put it down. I think it's wonderful! Picture quailty is great!
