This sewing machine not only met, but exceded my expectations. It is sturdy, quiet and versatile enough to meet most sewing needs. I would highly recommend it. I haven't owned it long enough to judge the durability.
When i saw this machine i thought it was a good machine, but when it came in and i got to use it i got everything i expected and more. I love all the features this machine has. Great Machine

I have had this machine for a few years now and I use it to make curtains, patch pant knees, hem pants, make dolls' clothes - you name it. I love having the embroidery options.

Purchased this Brother sewing machine after sewing on another Brother machine for twenty years. I choose it because of the quality of my first machine. I've used it for several projects now (machine quilting, hemming pants, crafts), and am very happy with it so far. Threads the needle which is awesome (did not have that before), and many other newer additions. There are more stitches than I will ever use. Tension is perfect, has not had one thread jam, etc. The bobbin is taking patience to get used to -- it catches on the indent on the spool & have to used largest spool attachment when filling bobbin. The durability is very sturdy and good, but some things that used to be metal are now plastic on new machines & seem less durable... Overall very pleased for the price
Pros: High Quality, Fun, Detailed Instructions, Easy Storage Cons: Other thoughts: I am 58 years young and I first learned to sew when I was in Grade School at the age of 12. For some reason, I stopped sewing over the years. Once of the reasons was that I needed to buy a newer and better sewing machine and I started looking at sewing machines on-line and at [@] carried the newer Brother 'Project Runway' Series of Machines and I knew I definitely wanted to purchase one of these. So I went on-line, found one with-in my budget according to my needs and I purchased a PC-210. I love it! Of course, I would also have loved to purchase one with embroidery features and monogramming features, but the cost on these was too high for my budget at this time. I am very happy with my Brother PC-210 at this time. I have been sewing so much since it arrived!
