It feel confident about this dryer. Materials feel strong and sturdy. It has enough technology to make life easier, but not too much that I'm scared of it breaking.
I love it has a lot of different options like heavy dry light, dry fluff. It has a volume on the buzzer so you can have it low or high which we all love
I chose this model because I did not want a lot of complicated controls and buttons. The flat steel top is great, in case you want to fold clothes or place items on top. I did have to buy the electric cord separate, as this was not included. The door swing was easily changed to meet my room. There is minimal noise and vibration. You can vary the loudness of the finish buzzer. I am very satisfied with all the features, and there were no other models or makes that were even considered. I also bought the matching washer, and I believe GE makes reliable appliances.
It's the first dryer we have ever bought and we hope we have it for a long time. We have the matching washer and we've had it since 2014 and still going strong.
This dryer is the perfect size for my older mobile home. In fact, it's a larger capacity than my original dryer and has so many more special features and settings! The inside lights up, too!
I purchased this dryer online, all dimensions fit my apartment size "laundry" area with Venetian sliding doors. The dryer works great and is up to my expectations. I love the modern design with the knobs. I am so glad to have this option instead of the touch buttons.
Washer and dryer have big capacity. Lots of features. Has a super fast cycle, which is perfect when you're in a hurry. Simple to use. Love the fact that I can add soap while the tub is filling, so I don't have to put soap directly on my clothes. The price point was amazing also. Incredibly happy with our new washer dryer!
Simple dryer built just like they use to! Drys prefect, easy set up, easy mother board to replace wiring if needed. Super light but great material. Overall a great dryer
The dryer is not reliable. Two months from the purchase date a purple wire coming from the main harness to the heating element burnt at the connection. This was repaired and happened two more times. At this point we have purchased a new heating element assembly and a new electrical harness. I am very disappointed with this issue.
After 2 years of use the dryer tumbled, but was not heating up. Took the dryer apart to see a purple wire connecting the heating element to a wire cluster at the motor had melted through. This in turn completely damaged the male connector at the heating element. This seems to be a common problem when doing a quick google search. Stay away from this dryer.
