Just love our new matching washer and dryer. So smooth and flawlessly working. Extra capacity from our last models is awesome. For a mechanical guy, It's been fun to do laundry, no joke. Like a new toy for me.
My new dryer is streamlined and stylish, fit well through my basement door, whereas we had to take the door off to fit my bulky old dryer. Great variety of settings for all needs from gentle to cotton. You have an option for a cool down phase if you choose. I love the silver drum which is sure never to rust. I can't understand why anyone would pay so much extra just to have a stainless steel dryer when they could pay a great price for a stylish, well crafted dryer like this one. I would highly recommend this dryer which is both beautiful and practical. It looks great and works great! I am looking forward to many years of nicely dried clothes with energy saving features for a lower bill! This is the first GE product I have bought based on so many excellent reviews that I read, and my private contractor also recommended GE as an excellent product line. Thank you for making an outstanding product with great features that I can put my faith in for many loads of beautifully dried clothes that come out of the dryer fresh and smooth. Thank you GE!! I will definitely be purchasing your appliances in the future and will recommend them to friends family and co-workers!
This is my first NEW dryer EVER. I'm 61! Love the design, ease of installation and the extended tumble. I often forget my laundry and it sits in a lump until I remember. This feature is a terrific idea
I bought the GE gas dryer to match with my washer, so far no problems. It runs smoothly and is working fine. The only thing negative that I noticed is that the turning knob is a bit hard to maneuver while switching the settings, other than that it works and dries perfectly fine. Thank you GE
We love our dryer, user friendly and easy to clean! So blessed we choose the best. Had all GE appliances in our previous home we gave to my daughter she hasn't had any problem with all appliances!
This will be our 2nd GE dryer. The 1st one was bought at a Sears scratch and dent and was a great dryer. We decided to replace it with this one and couldn't be happier.
By far, the easiest dryer to use. No digital displays. Just good old fashioned knobs to turn. The dryer is super quiet and does a great job. My old digital display dryer always had problems.
I had trouble assembling the exhaust duct at the dryer. More information should be provided to the installer because the dryer's exhaust pipe doesn't fit directly into a standard 4" aluminum duct pipe, either male or female end. Besides that the dryer works fine, so far (day 1) and I hope it lasts a good 10 years.
Have been very unhappy with this dryer. As it takes forever to dry anything. The very worst thing about it is that the lint screen catch's minimal of the lint. And when you take out the screen, it's so deep in there that you can NOT get the lint OUT!!!!
Do not buy this dryer. Last night a light weight shirt got stuck on the inside bulb of the dryer causing the shirt to melt a hole. There is no cover for the inside bulb. A fire could of been caused and my 5 year old grandson is heart broken that his soccer shirt as a 2 inch hole.
