Had to replace our 24 year old dryer that started over heating and shredding items. But needed something that was not too deep to fit in my small laundry room. And it looks great. What a joy to use! Everything comes out great even my queen size comforter that did not fit in my old dryer. Color me happy. Knobs are stiff but I hope they will loosen up with time Thanks GE.
Energy efficient at its best, families with a lot of kids and not a lot of time to do Laundry or sit around waiting for the dryer to finish would love this model. Fill it set the timer and Set extra tumble in time to reduce wrinkles. I have found that this GE dryer has save me and my family much time in the degraded laundry room :)
I bought this dryer a week ago and the drying times are much better than my older (+10years) one. The simple selectable knobs are way less complicated than the digital displays on some other brands. (My mom has one and it's confusing) One of the neat features is the interior light to allow us to seek out all the socks and such. another is that the knobs can spin all the way around and it won't damage them. There is also a buzzer with an adjustable volume to signal when the load is done.
We've owned our dryer for one month. The drying time compared to our old dryer has been greatly reduced! The options allow us to match the type and length of drying to the fabric needs. We love the extended time option and the optimum drying cycle. The drum is so large that clothes come out fluffed and wrinkle free!
Finally found a dryer that would fit my small space. Not everyone has large laundry rooms, thank you GE

This unit works great had a year and drys first time each time
I searched all over for a smaller dryer to fit into my laundry closet in my apartment. This was the perfect fit. Make sure you also get a 4 inch hose and it's not too long from the dryer to the wall outlet. It's in the instructions if you need to reference. So far it's dried my clothes pretty ok. Sometimes I have to run them through again for a couple of minutes because of them being a slight bit damp. But I am grateful for this dryer because I had to wait almost 3 months of it being on back order due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The buzzer can be a bit loud so you will need to adjust it. So far so good! It's a little early to review since I got it earlier this month so we'll see GE!
Just like the washer, we've never had GE washers/dryers before, but so far, this is exceeding my expectations. We were more concerned about the size than the features, but it seems to be a good dryer. My only complaint is the lint trap...difficult to remove and with it being plastic I'm leary about man-handling it for fear of breaking it.
Dryer makes a lot of noise. you can hear it Atlantic City. It's so noisy. And I live in Delray Beach, Florida.
