We chose this dryer because for its smaller footprint. We needed one that fits in a laundry closet. We enjoy all of the features and dry options. The dryer's cavity is larger than I expected. I also like that the door swings to the side versus down. It will buzz when it's done and you can adjust the volume. It also dryers fairly quickly. I would definitely recommend.
This dryer is perfect for small spaces which is what I needed and it is incredibly hard to find now! It dries quickly which is great too. It's quiet, even when you have jeans or jackets in it. My only minor complaint is that I wish it had a top lint trap and that it caught more lint. I have a Great Pyrenees and I still have a little fur left on my clothes. I never had that issue with my old dryer. But aside from that, it's fantastic.
I'm glad to have a new dryer with these features such as it buzzes when it's dry and continues to tumble to prevent clothes from wrinkling. I wish that I had chosen a larger dryer because I had it on 70 minutes and some items were not completely dry.
Nice clothes dryer. There are alot of different options so there is no guesswork on what temperature or how long you need to dry clothes for. The machine takes an average amount of time to completely dry laundry. Nice design and fits great in small places. Its compact design but large dryer capacity was the only reason I purchased it. My only complaints are that the lint trap and door feel cheaply made.
Needed a new dryer in a pinch and found this one. I was limited with size but after reading the reviews, I thought to give this a try. It's a no frills kinda dryer, which I wanted. It dries my clothes quickly but can run a bit louder than I'd like. So far I'm happy with it.
The GE dryer looks great and fits into our limited space so that's a plus! I always had an old dryer that dried everything quickly. This one seems to take a lot longer to dry anything, I think it might be the new dryers these days.
I have a small space for a washer/dryer and was pleased when I found my GE dryer. It fits the space I have, is working well and has the options I like.
Had on Extended tumble Cottons and thought it was running long and then when I went to driver to check was over drying and don't think it would have shut off am concerned with what would have happened if I went to bed is there a recall
This junk dryer has never once dried our clothes like it should. Set on the highest heat setting it takes over 2 hrs to dry one load. Absolute junk. Yes the vent is clear. Yes we clean the lint trap. I've taken the back panel off and inspected the exhaust path. Clear. Probably has a bad regulator. This pile of crap came with our brand new house. They couldn't have picked a cheaper dryer to use. We've had it for 2 years now. Junk.
In the beginning first week there was a real heavy gas smell. The technician said the vent was to far “10feet” and he left I. The description it's good for up to 120feet then the lint trap is in the worst place and you have to fight with it to close the door every time
