so far so good. Am learning how to use. Love it so far.
Really nice loom! It may take some time getting used to using it, especially in the inside areas, however, the results are awesome. If you want to create a big throw blanket, you can, but expect to put a lot of time into it. I highly recommend this loom!
Was what I wanted and at a good price.
This is pretty easy to use, maybe more difficult for a complex pattern. I had to put cellophane tape over two pegs to keep from forgetting and making a giant tube. Lion brand homespun %235 made a width that covered a full size bed.
Love this and works very well in various pattern looming. I like this shorter style vs the expanded style --- easy to hold in your lap,
I can't wait to try this. I highly recommend this
Nothing at all love ordering from you!
I am very happy with the Afghan loom. I have had it about a week. I have found that you can't use large yarn with this loom. It is a very tight weave because the pegs are close together. I tried to use 2 strands of 4 worsted weight yarn. I had to rip it out because it was so tight it was more like a rug instead of an Afghan. I bought size 5 weight yarn at that time. It is still quite tightly weaved but it is not like a rug. It's just a very tightly weaved afghan. It is turning out beautiful The next one I do I will use only one strand of number 4 worsted weight. I think it will do a lot better. I just thought I would throw this in where others buying this loom would know that the larger weight yarn would make a very heavy tightly weaved afghan. Good luck with your projects.
As far as Walmart is concerned, they were great. Got the product several days earlier than they said I would. As for the loom - ugh. The instructions inside the box are HORRIBLE and do NOT match the instructions written on the outside of the box. Therefore, I tried finding videos on YouTube to help me figure it out, and they were geared more towards the experienced loomer. I even went to Reddit where there is a loomknitting subreddit and asked them how to work it. I explained the steps the written instructions said to follow, and several experienced loomers said the instructions did not sound right. Needless to say, I am sort of winging it and have no idea what my first afghan will end up looking like. The included instructions are so poorly written that I am thinking of writing a nasty letter to KB to complain. One piece of advice - take an ink pen apart and thread your yarn through the empty shell. Wrap your yarn around the pegs using the pen rather than your fingers. You can go so much faster that way. Even tho it is a little hard to learn how to use the loom, I still like it and enjoy using it.
Maybe it's me, but I think this is difficult to use. I've used other looms before, but this one is quite challenging. I think it would help with better visual directions.
