I have been using Hydro shave gel for years and it's the best for my sensitive skin. However, I cannot find it anywhere. Pleas don't say you discontinued it!!
Can someone tell me if this product has be discontinued. I can not find it at any local store. This is the only product that works with my sensitive skin.
I really like this gel but the plastic dispenser top broke off with over half the can left.
I have used the Hydro 5 razor for years, and found it works the best with the Hydro shave cream. Low odor, smooth shave and rinses easily. But, now I cannot seem to find it in any local stores. Might try ordering it online. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I have been using Schick shaving gel for years now and it is one thing that I know that I can count on every time I use it. After a shave my face feels smooth and I am never left with that awful burning face feeling (except when I use a Gillette razor but that is a different story). I am hooked, sold, enamored, satisfied, whatever. I'm a very pleased Schick Hydro user.
I love this gel with the Schick Hydro razor. Best and smoothest shave. Gel leaves the skin feeling great. But it isn't in any stores now. I have tried 3 different chains.
The gel itself is good for the money but there is always leakage at the bottom of the cans after it has been used for a little while. Other gel manufacturers beginning with G have fixed this with 'rust proof bottoms' on their cans, but Schick always leaves a ring of gel which has leaked from the lower seam of the can.
This dispensing unit is poor. Can not seem to get the gel out of the bottle.
Bought two cans and could not get the gel to come out of the can. I think the Hydro 5 razors are great, but would not buy the gel again.
I recently bought a canister of the schick hydro because it seemed like it would be good for my skin based on description! Within 2 weeks the can bubbled out the side and leaked out all over our shower. I was so upset, it was nearly a whole can wasted! Our house is not super hot or anything that would make sense for this to have happened. Very disappointed. Hopefully it was just a faulty can and won't happen to others.
