We bought 2 new handheld shower heads for our guest and master bathrooms. In the case of the master bedroom it was because the hose was kinked and rusted. New shower heads came with hoses that simply would not uncoil or hang properly. The Peerless hoses came out of the package, uncoiled immediately, and installed easily onto the shower heads. The hose looks expensive and I was sceptical that the additional expense for 2 more hoses was going to be worth it. Boy was I wrong! Take my advice and just add the expense of a Peerless hose to any handheld shower head you buy. You won't regret it.
I purchased this replacement hose assembly and both me and my wife absolutely love it. The original hose assembly was stiff and difficult to place in the holder. An EXCELLENT product. Carl & Judy
Although I haven't had this long, it was a perfect fit for my Moen hand held shower. Even if it doesn't last long it was extremely cheep compared to the Moen replacement hose. You could buy 6 of these for the price of one Moen. Very satisfied.
Stainless steel is one of the best for this. Anything else is not as flexible. It was easy to install, and at almost 64yrs old, I did it myself. Thankyou for a fine product.
As a senior, I was concerned that it wouldn't fit or I would have problems installing. Quite the opposite. I had it installed within 5 minutes. Very easy.
The original hose, several years old, cracked near the shower head. My fault, I dropped it and it hit the shower wall. I thought I would have to buy the whole thing, but was very glad a replacement hose was available. Just a quick twist to remove old and replace with new. This hose is a few inches longer than the original. Very happy with this new one.
Had difficulty screwing it onto my shower fixture. But after a few tries, it fits perfectly and works better than my old hose! One disappointment--it doesn't stretch to 5 ft.
This hose performs its expected function. I like having the option of extending it if needed.
My last shower hose had a leak in it and I was concerned a new one would not fir properly. Upon installation, the a couple of threads on the connector were still visible after tightening but it still worked perfectly!
I bought this so I could get a little more reach on my new showerhead that came with a 5' or 60" hose. It says it will extend from 60"-80". If I were to stretch it to 80", I feel like it would rip it off the shower pipe. It is not worth the $15.99 for no more of an extended reach than you get.
