I would nip these nippers

The Sally Hansen nippers I recently bought did not fit the description in my opinion. There was no warning that they are tiny in comparison to the other set I had bought at Wal-Mart, so I expected no difference. These are short handled and hard to hold in my hand because they do not fit the average sized hand correctly, as the short handles fit more into the upper palm area instead of the lower palm area where one's squeezing muscles are. The jaws were at an angle that was hard to position because of the short handles. And the edges on the jaws lasted about three cuts on a cuticle, and mine would fit into a normal description, I guess; as they are not dry and hard, nor loose and sticking up. The cuticle I needed to trim was just a "hangnail" type, and the others were just to trim up around the fingernail bed. I wear lotion and my hands are soft and well maintained. I couldn't put enough pressure on the handles to hold the nipper blades together easily, in order to cut the cuticle. The spring was rough and would slide to the side which caused one to have to stop the cut and fix that thing. I think I paid about $6 for these and they are not worth one cent of that money. I won't buy this kind again, as they dull to easily and are very hard to hold in position to cut with.
