I followed the directions at first because my cuticles were horrible. I wasn't that pleased. Then yesterday I put some on while watching tv and pushed back my cuticles. Then before bed I put some more on, massaged it in real good. I also wear hand cream every night so I put that on also. This morning my finger nails look WONDERFUL. I am going to start doing this routine every other day. Gotta keep those cuticles in line. lol Thank you Sally Hansen for such a Wonderful product.
This is a great product one of the best in the market for cuticle treatment. I hope that Walmart make it available in the store again. Haven't seen it in a year or so, therefore I had to order online, happy that it was available and not discontinued by the company, Sally Hansen.
I think this is the most amazing cuticle moisturizer out there. The product looks pretty, I love the swirls, my cuticles don't look ripped or dry, they look nice, smooth and perfect. The cuticle eraser is very good too, it evenly erases them, unlike others it just leaves uneven cuticles. I absolutely love this product, will keep buying it for the rest of my life :D
I put this on when I go to bed at night and I rub it into my cuticles. I could see an improvement after the first night I used it. The next day after I leave it on all night my cuticles look so much better. The next day there is not much cuticle over-growth on my nails. I am able to gently push my cuticles back.
I have never used a cuticle eraser or anything like that before, but since my mom had used Sally Hansen since I was a little girl I have always used it as well. I saw this product at the store when I was looking for something a little less rough than others I had heard of since it was my first and I have very sensitive skin. Since it was the first time I had ever removed any of my cuticles I had quite a bit of overgrowth because I rarely even push them back, but lately have been wanting to take better care of my nails so figured i should do cuticles as well. This product got 99% of the dry overgrown cuticle off my nails and actually did moisturize them a bit since they have been very dry lately. This product did exactly what it is supposed to, gently and while smelling very pleasant!
This is my second container of the nail balm. Can't find it anywhere else but glad I found it here!
Overall, this is a good product. It has a light, pleasant fragrance and a nice texture- creamy but not greasy. It does a great job of moisturizing cuticles. I experienced modest results as far as the cuticle-removing properties are concerned. It makes my nails and cuticles look neater and well-groomed, but it is not as effective as a traditional cuticle remover. That is fine with me, as I was not looking to replace other cuticle removers, but rather as a quick fix I could use throughout the day while away from home. I'd definitely recommend this product, but for me it does not replace other cuticle removers.
I'll be quite honest. This was the first Sally Hansen product was truly disappointed with. The idea behind it is sound and something every needs for their salon kit. But I did not notice any difference in the before and after. I did not feel that this conditioned my cuticles, help me get rid of dead cuticles even after pushing them back, soaking and then washing hands. I massaged and massaged but it did not seem like my skin was absorbing it. Suffice it to say, I recommend just passing on this product and sticking to the old method of soaking nails and using a lotion.
Expectations were high but outcome was below par. The creme did not moisturize the cuticles but left a greasy residue that was hard to wash off since a liberal amount was put on after many failed attempts to soften them before cutting them away with ease. TOTAL FAIL! Simply waste of money.
I expected much better from Sally Hansen. This stuff is just awful. It's sticky. It leaves green gunk along the edges of your nail and along the cuticle no matter how much you rub it in and even after washing your hands. I actually had to get my nail brush out to scrub the green gunk away! What a waste of money.
