This is my holy grail base and top coat, but I love that it also stands on its own as a nice shiny solo coat when I need a break from color. It really does help other polish to stay put, and chip less (or last longer). I keep a bottle in my purse, the car, my bathroom and my suitcase because it is such an all around workhorse and I never want to be without it.
If you're looking for a nice clear coat, this is it. Left a wet look shine and it doesn't took forever to dry. I have used all kinds of nail products, but I always come back to Sally Hansen. You can't beat the product for the price.

Quick dry time ...chip resistant..easy application ...leaves a shiny gloss ..lot of diffrent colors....I really like the hard as nails .....
I use this as my daily nail color. Drying time is super quick and leaves a lovely shine that isn't too lacquered. Easy application and I can wash my hands do dishes type on the computer for days and days without chipping. Love this stuff!
This is a perfect top coat to add shine & protection to your polish. It also shows love to your actual. My color underneath always lasts at least twice as long when I use this. It's great for a percent clear polished set too.

Nail polish companies and brands come and go but through the years theres only one I know of that has neen a constant and thats Sally hansen. Ultimate shield is my go to for either my base coat or top coat.it leaves a clear glass finish.and dries in a minimal amount of time.not just for looks but also.protects your nails from snags and splits. ( thats why i wear it) afoordable, reliable and the quality and performance is beyond expectation. Truly a great find. You got to get it.
Best top coat I've ever tried! It goes on smoothly, and is a great top coat over nail polish….even if my polish is gummy, I put this on top and it hardens it!
This product turns yellowish after some time but overall it's a good product. Works well as both base and top coat. The price is also good for it quality.
