This microphone has worked well for me in the couple weeks I have had it. It replaced a USB dynamic mic that had a broken USB port. This mic comes with the square USB port, which looks to be much more sturdy.
It's a solid mic that picks up sound average- my experience was a slight delay from when I started recording til the time it hit my ears. Audio Technica has several products that seem to fill their value and worth, but this is also the 3rd mic I've had to replace in 1 year (ALL of which were Audio Technicas). Both of those that failed me before were different models than this one, but the same model as each other (a more basic model than this one). The first one flat out failed, the second one I dropped and because my flooring is hard tile, unfortunately I was only able to get a few months use out of it. So delicacy is a hazard sign to look for with these things. Also, this particular one is not super super stable so be sure that you are putting it together correctly when assembling...
